If you had the power to assign a new title to any book/movie/show, what would you choose? Are there any of your own works you'd like to change the titles of?

My own works I've made my peace with -- I don't even go back and edit them unless it's something really egregious! They're a snapshot of where I was at when I wrote 'em and even if something seems clunky to me now, I'd rather squirm and leave it than go back and change it.

What i WOULD love to change is when they downgrade movie titles to make them banal, boring, and unsearchable. Maybe there's a studio reason for this self-sabotage?? The one that springs instantly to mind is this Boyd Holbrook movie that was called The Cursed. Which is the most pointless title ever. I mean it wasn't a memorable movie to begin with but at least its working title was "Eight for Silver" which makes you wonder about it! The Cursed. I would never spend a moment of time wondering about who or what is cursed. It's not worth the neurons. The Unholy started out being called the same as the book it's based on, which is the simple and chilling word "Shrine". DOWNGRADE OF A LIFETIME
