aka i got the sudden urge to paint ven, and scribbled this as fast as i could

inspired by this bust of ven that @ephemxras made, because it reminded me how much i love ven (and is honestly just, one of the cutests vens that’s ever been drawn)

#oc: ven #tempests verse #kingdom hearts #scribbles #''why is ven's skin blue in the shaded areas?'' #a) their blood is blue-green b) it makes them look sickly which they're supposed to bc their immune system is shit #vanitas got all of the immune system so ven spends 50% of their time being sick and the other 50% running around being a gremlin #their hair gets longer and longer each time i draw it and honestly? i love that #with other characters i'll draw their teeth how you'd expect teeth to be drawn but with ven i gotta make sure you know they have Fangs #its important to their character design. change my mind #anyways uuhhh they're the belgian rabbit bc they've got a rabbit association (that i gotta write in more) but have a lot of attributes that- #one might give to a hare. but despite their monstrous and hare-like nature they ARE still a rabbit. and belgian hares are a breed of- #domestic rabbits that are bred to resemble hares. despite hare being in the name they are ultimately still rabbits though #which fits ven!! thus. belgian hare #tempests vanitas is also a rabbit i just haven't figured out which breed yet #the art that never was
