not to be like that but in another universe vitali would try to fuck that old man WSHGFDGHFDGDFHG i'm right. everyone agrees

however in this universe he is normal about him :] they're on speaking terms now but it took them very long to get to that point because of everything that has happened. during the in-game events, vitali is very wary of goro because he is fully expecting him to run back to arasaka the moment he gets the chance and. well. that's exactly what ends up happening </3 they work together until the point of no return and then vitali even momentarily forgets about the man

they meet again in the arasaka arc of the story when vitali and vincent are back in night city to find a cure for vincent's condition. vitali "dies" and is brainwashed by arasaka and goro and sandayu oda are basically the only non-brainwashed people in that division to oversee the entire situation. during all of that (i haven't. written about it i'm so sorry just trust me), both of them realize that their loyalty to arasaka might not be worth it in the end and when rogue and vitali escape the corporation, goro and sandayu come with them :]

nowadays, goro and vitali respect each other and occasionally do business together! goro is currently working for wakako in my canon, hanako is still alive and she's still recovering from the brainwashing program and she's staying in one of wakako's safehouses for the time being so that's all taken care of. goro is mostly keeping contact with vitali's office for vincent because they were a lot closer during the in-game events than goro and vitali, but you can never have enough allies in night city so both of them put in effort to stay on good terms with one another

vitali and judy are like. brothers in arms. professional clown to clown communication. their brains are linked together they can speak to each other telepathically they hate each other's guts they love each other in an mlm/wlw solidarity AND hostility way they would commit war crimes for each other they would kill each other without thinking twice they would swim across the ocean for each other they have each other blocked on all social media. do you see my vision

they met each other through vincent and basically immediately chose violence with each other because of prejudices on both sides but this turned into funnyman hostility within like 24 hours when they realized they're both just some guy <3 they understand each other on a fundamental level that i cannot possibly explain so you'll just have to trust me but there's so much going on there even though they don't have a lot of screen time together during the in-game events

judy is still here now for the broker fic and she occasionally does some runner work for vitali when lauren is unavailable. she's also the local techie and he's paying her for all the work she does so she can't complain <3 plus she likes to hang out around his office anyway so it's a win/win situation :] they mostly talk to each other about work and stuff nowadays but if they were to have some free time together they would probably watch very bad movies together and continuously roast the shit out of it together while watching
