This is totally out of left field, but I’ve been watching the Valorant VCTs these last couple weeks and WHAT IS GOING ON. First SEN loses, then NRG is absolutely demolished like HUMBLED, and just today C9 got their asses handed to them by 100 thieves. Like I feel like anyone who knows these teams knows that they really are pretty evenly matched so to have all these blowouts- I’m absolutely bamboozled.

Let me drop some quick Celeste lore as background- I work as a paralegal so I work directly with some of the attorneys (lawyers) at my firm.

FAN PROJECT: VCT PACIFIC ASCENSION 'TICKETS'

Right before the VALORANT CHALLENGERS ASCENSION: PACIFIC in 2023, I made some ticket-esque graphics, mainly to cheer on the team I was supporting at the time.

I know many people who keep tickets as souvenirs, myself included, and thought "what if tickets were designed to also be kept as souvenirs?"

Besides that, the Challengers scene is not closely followed by many people, as it acts as a 'little brother' type of competition to the main VCT circuit. So I also wanted to be able to use these graphics as a way to introduce the teams to people who might not necessarily watch their respective national qualifier games.

Each side of the ticket has;

team names, icons, origins and hashtags

players' real names, in-game names and agent roles

match date and time

The tickets are double sided, with each ticket being for their respective matches. In the end, I also decided to add a boarder to each ticket, in their team's respective colour, to make them pop a bit more.

These were posted on social media on the first day of Ascension. Unfortunately, the team I was cheering for (BONKERS) was knocked out.

XQc wants to buy The Guard’s VCT spot, despite ‘ghosting’ another VALORANT team this year

In a recent live stream, XQc told his followers that he would like to sign The Guard's former VALORANT team and join the VCT in 2024. The professionals who played for The Guard, Jacob "valyn" Batio, Ian "tex" Botsch, Michael "neT" Bernet, Jonah "JonahP" Pulice, and Trent Cairns, won the 2023 VCT Americas Ascension competition in June, earning them a spot in the 2024 VCT Americas League the following year. Riot, though, didn’t accept The Guard as a partner to join the league and, at first, was reluctant to allow the players to find a new organization to play in VCT. But Riot eventually reversed course after community backlash. The players were released from The Guard on Sept. 1, which means they’re up for grabs if xQc wants to sign them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q3MSu5zyxw Though xQc is interested in the former The Guard players, he recognized it’ll be expensive to run the team. I would love to be platchat anon hell yeah. And yeah I get youuuu, I can't really play bc my laptop Struggles to run the game (and also I'm dogshit lmao), which does just mean I spend even more time watching valo. I've watched so much over the years that I can fall asleep to it now, rip

I also root for FNATIC! I love them sm, Boaster is so funny and such a good leader imo, I'm glad he's getting his moment to shine. I didn't watch much vct last year but I remember watching back during gambit era so it feels very full circle to watch chronicle back on top too. I have some holdover affection for the old v1 players like zellsis and vanity, I just remember the cat ears so vividly lmao. I also watch a lot of sliggy so liquid also has a place in my heart, and I fell in love with the guard at the start of the year when they were at the ludwig tarik invitational, so I'm so happy that they get to go to vct next year. I also had a phase of watching a bunch of s0m streams but unfortunately I still kind of have a love hate relationship with nrg.

But honestly I will watch almost any team, during the regular season I watched almost every emea and americas game (pacific was at terrible times for me unfortunately), so I've rooted for most teams at some point, I just love watching pro play at the end of the day

I'm pretty new to the whole vct thing honestly (my first tourney was last fall, after october I just threw myself into the game changers champs LOL) but I'm so sad I missed the gambit era that team had so many of my now-faves like Chronicle and nAts—I'm jealous! But yeah I really love Liquid too, Sliggy's one of my favorite watchpartiers after sideshow and bren (and doug sometimes when he's live)!!

I never really knew NRG pre-franchising, only that eeiu and hazed were on there and that now I like eeiu by virtue of being an M80 player, so I don't have the same holdouts but I really love s0m and FNS together in content bc their LCQ costream was SOOOO funny and their stream clips are GOLDEN.

I'm v much in the same boat, I gained like 60k channel points across all the valo channels during regular season because I did the same thing LMAOO

My Yunteng Tripod VCT-5208 Review (w/ my Paper Dolls) [Recorded Video] - Part 5 (Final) [Jun 25, 2021]

Hi! Here’s my Final Part 5 of my Yunteng Tripod VCT-5308 review, with my paper dolls.🙂

In this finale part, I will using my shutter remote from my tripod and see how it works on my Honor 8C phone via Bluetooth connection.

BTW: This is the first time that I’m uploading a higher video with edited/merge (two recorded videos in one using Windows 10′s Movie Maker) size on my main blog, thanks to tumblr’s expanding video size limit and that’s a huge announcement last June 11th (video upload size of 500MB (previously was 100MB) to a time limit of 10 minutes (previously was 5 minutes) on a single video).📲🎦. So now I could finally upload my recorded video in a higher size limit, although I still need cloudconvert though, in case that my video size is oversize; depending how much time on my recording session using my Honor 8C phone.

*But before that, I want YOU… Yes you, which you’re reading my description. I want you to watch my recorded video first 📹📲 (as a observation) before you read the rest of my reaction experience. Hope you’re watching…

So without further ado, let’s get started:

My Experience: • Okay so right off the bat... The shutter remote is, low battery and I can’t use it.😕 So I have to charge it via my dad’s power bank (My Romoss power bank is still resting from charging test) for about 45 minutes. And after that waiting, I disconnect from charging and it’s still not working. That is something that I let down, I thought that shutter remotes are functioned well and it has a battery juice during their initial test but this is very unacceptable; and I’ve finally found the ‘cons’.🙁

• Anyways, when my recording video starts I decided to plug in my micro usb cable on my dad’s power bank in order to functional use and connect through my phone via Bluetooth. As you see the power switch is working well when it’s plugged in, and the blue light is blinking, meaning is searching for a pair device. Once the name “YUNTENG” pops up on the Bluetooth search I tap anyway and it’s now paired with my shutter remote.

• On my first try on the AI photography mode, the shutter remote is functional well when I press it. And this button is very tactile noise compare to my compact tripod selfie. Even the plus and minus buttons are okay too though it doesn’t make sense, but since my photo mode is at AI photography it doesn’t need zoom function so I digress.

• But when I switch to video mode, things are getting weird... When I press the camera button from my shutter remote it zooms once before the record starts.😕 And while the two buttons are now respective it is quite annoying on the camera button for my video recording, so I don’t think I won’t use it anytime soon despite this moment.

• Now what happens when I turn off the AI photography on the photo mode? Will the zoom function is finally respective work? Well the answer is no... It’s the same thing as before... Bummer.😕

On the bright side, I think they’re look cute on that picture (the first picture with a flash).🖼️🙂

Overall: • Well doesn’t well for using the shutter remote from Yunteng VCT-5208 tripod.🙁 It works well, but the battery built-in is down poor and it needs to be addressed to the company. Otherwise it’s totally useless, so again I don’t think I won’t use this shutter remote anytime soon. They should put a CMOS battery instead. As for their charging time of shutter remote, that’s something I won’t cover on... Other than that, the tripod itself is very useful.
