At wch Bulgaria is going to be represented by Buba, Stili and Eva(4 + 3 + 1). Yeah, Stili is doing hoop ball and clubs. I understand that they dont want to risk Buba not being in the all around bcoz olympic qualifications but im still not sure if thats the wisest decision. I love Eva so much but i dont know dude. Imho it would be better if they send just Stili and Buba but god idk- Eva did win silver at euros but theres more to lose this time if you send a gymnast with 3 routines. I think this is also going to put a lot of pressure on Stiliana. I am all for Eva going to wch but aaaaaaaaa
P. S. Ig this is the best decision if they want to send all 3 but i am still kinda unsure if thats for the best

So, France will go to the olympics (they had a quota as a host country, but they also qualified on their own this afternoon). The last time it happened was in 1996 and 2000. They just made history

I am really out of the rg fandom loop for a while and didn't follow rg as closely as before 2020...
But I am still a bit surprised that Darja Varfolomeev is getting so much hate for her style and that she wouldn't deserve her success???
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she is consitent, not making obvious mistakes, she's fast and putting a lot of elements into her routine which makes up her enormous difficulty and she has precision that others sometimes lack...crowd likes her routines so there must be something artistic to it that appeals ppl...
I don't really understand the artistic scores given for her but I think the artistic score in general is problematic bc of the subjectiveness in it and rg scoring is hardly ever the fairest, but I still think Darja just has her own style which is relying a lot on gestures and mimic as expression but whether you like it or not it's still valid. I wouldn't give her those high artistic scores either but then again I wouldn't give them to others who get them as well...I would take the artistic score away altogether...it makes things messy and more easy to push or devalue gymnasts...
I would have loved for Sofia to win, but I don't think Darja winning is a disaster...
I mean yes we can certainly argue about the scores in rg as they are and were always inconsistently scored as hell but I don't think this scoring today is such a disaster case...(I have seen far worse, admittedly maybe not the best argument)
And no this opinion gets nothing to do with her representing my home country and though I am happy Germany finally is good in rg to make ppl in Germany discover this beautiful sport, I would say this if she would be from any other country...
Tbh I do like other gymnasts much better than Darja - Sofia Raffaeli and Boryana Kaleyn especially, also her teammate Margarita Kolosov - but to say Darja is an undeserving gymnast is not fair.

Livescoring
Startlists should also be available on the Longines website above
FIG Microsite
Livestreaming
The Olympics channel might have some options
FIG Official Youtube channel - for finals
Olympic Channel of Brazil - maybe for Quals
Official Livestream for Quals
This counts as Olympic qualifier! Unlike the other years when the AA final determined the quotas, this year the Qualifications AA classification will count! Top 14 Individuals will win a quota for their respective countries (except for Raffaeli, Varfolomeev and Nikolova who already won one for their respective countries and therefore won鈥檛 count - Baldassarri, Kolosov and Kaleyn will have to make top 14 to win a second quota for their countries). Top 5 Groups (except for Bulgaria, Spain and Israel) will win a quota for their country.

On this day, 14 December 1951, bagel bakers in New York City went on strike, shutting 32 out of 34 of the city's bagel bakeries. It left shelves bare and almost entirely cut off the weekly supply of 1.2 million bagels to the city, causing what the New York Times described as a "bagel famine". The bakers came to agreement with the employers in January, and bagel drivers remained out until seven weeks after the start of the dispute, when they reached a deal to compensate them for wages lost during the strike. Pictured: a New York bagel baker around this time.
