qPhil headcanons masterlist
Family walks, Chayanne on Phil's shoulders and Tallulah on Missa's. Or they do that thing where there's one kid between them and they take either hand and lift/swing them together.
Family gardening. Missa using his reaper scythe to harvest things, Chayanne and Tallulah replanting seeds, Phil going full crow brain and hoarding all the harvested crops in crates.
The kids are Phil & Missa's biggest wingmen. Tallulah will lead them somewhere and then be like "Oh. Oh nooo, oh noooo my asthmaaaa" and teleport away. And then suddenly there's Chayanne with a table for 2 and an entire kitchen setup with a dinner in progress.
They'll plot "relaxation" days for Phil and Missa too. It's a toss-up if either of them actually relax though. Missa's better at it than Phil at least.
No one cheered harder about the prison kisses than Chayanne and Tallulah. They wish their dads a very "do it again. Often."
Phil and Missa are constantly conspiring together about cool things to do with/for the kids. Even when they're away from each other they'll write books leaving the other a message like "shhh don't tell the kids :)"
They'll also plan days Just for one of the kids where whatever the family does is centered around their interests. It's nice for them, because although they have mutual interests and are more than willing to do whatever the other wants, they still have unique interests and it can naturally get tiring being a package deal. Especially when so many of the other eggs are only children and get doted on by their parents with undivided attention
They get separation sadness a lot bc reaper duties and Phil's extremely deep sleep/vivid dreams keep them apart so often, but their little system of leaving gifts (Missa his paintings, Phil misc trinkets) for each other works. It's not as good as a hug or quality time though :(
Everyone's passing each other's accents to one another. Missa finds himself slipping up saying "bewk" (book) or some shit, meanwhile Phil keeps saying stuff with a Spanish accent because of Missa and Tallulah and everyone keeps adopting German words into their vocabulary because of Chayanne.
Phil and Missa are both good at pvp, they love sparring with each other and teaching the kids. Chayanne is way more into it than Tallulah, but Tallulah loves to learn regardless, and she loves hearing Phil infodump about strategy and timing and whatnot.
Missa and the kids will team up and get Phil on one of his Philzaing rants. They'll be like "what do you MEAN you couldn't physically carry all three of us on a flight? :(" and there Phil goes, raving about how weight matters with flying and safety and blah blah blah. And he KNOWS they're getting a rise out of him most of the time. Yet he falls for it every time.
One day,, one day we'll get a 4/4 family build project,,, They want to do it do bad,, So far it's just been 3/4 make it and the 4th is delighted to be shown it by the kids whenever they're around again.
Phil and the kids have started half-purposely obtaining as many birds as they have bc it's funny to see Missa come back from reaper duties to MORE birds that he just has to accept live there now.
The kids love Phil's crow murder to death (pun intended) and are used to interacting with them. Missa not so much. Which has made for countless funny moments. He's still bewildered that they're so attuned to throwing something shiny at him and then aggressively cawing. He doesn't understand them like Phil can.
Something something the four of them having a seance together where Tallulah taps into her medium abilities to communicate with Kristin bc Goddess of Death is part of the Death Family. She loves to tease Missa (usually about Phil) and she ADORES the kids.

Aethenos and Aek
[Inspired by this prompt by @yandere-daydreams The prompt itself has some noncon themes/implications, but this drabble does not. Also, don’t expect like, too much of these characters. I don’t really have anything else planned for them but I’m open to suggestion!]
Picrews for Aethenos and Aek
CW: Noncon touch (nonsexual), dehumanization, language barrier, non-human whumper, freeze response, ‘it’ as a pronoun, intimate whumper (very very touchy), pet whump
Aethenos peered over the fragile little thing, excited beyond words. The transporter had only dropped their new pet off a few hours ago, so they were still “sleeping.” Odd, but they could get used to it. Besides, it gave them just a few more moments to get ready.
“Did you have one growing up?” asked Yuela, skimming something on her screen. Aethenos shook their head.
“Nah, but I always wanted one. Hence getting one now!”
Aethenos gently touched the smooth, warm skin of the human on the soft cushion in front of them. So very interesting. It started to stir slightly.
“Oh! Oh, Yuela it’s waking up!” They crouched down, close to its little face.
“Uhh, what are you doing?” came Yuela’s confused voice.
“I’ve heard that humans can imprint on their caregivers,” Aethenos explained, staring unblinkingly at the little hairs around its eyes that started to twitch and flutter. “I want to make sure I’m the one it imprints on.”
Before Yuela could respond, the little creature opened its eyes.
And went completely still.
Aethenos stared back, mere inches from its face. Its eyes were so round, wide too. Probably needed more time take in any sort of information with eyes that small. Poor thing, it must be hard surviving with such dulled senses. But Aethenos was more than happy to take care of it now.
It made a little sound and started to tremble a bit, so Aethenos assumed that it was done. How simple!
“Doesn’t the shaking mean it’s scared?” Yuela asked, a bit incredulous. Aethenos paused, looking down again. Hm, yes it was shaking harder now, and they could hear its breathing. Definitely a bit frightened. Whoops.
But everything always said that their pet would be a little frightened at first. It might take a while for it calm down, so they needed to be extra cautious with it right now.
“Yes, but it’s going to be scared right now, nothing we can do about it,” they said, slowly moving their hand out again. The human froze again, and Aethenos could see those tiny colored dots it called eyes follow their hand as it got closer. It made another soft sound, and Aethenos nearly purred with how adorable it was.
They put their hand on their pet’s hair, feeling how springy and soft the dark strands were. Would it shed much? Some sources said yes, others said no. Only time would tell, they guessed. Regardless, it was such a strange feeling. Like putting your hand into a nest, or the pit of a kerijuan fruit. Why it was on top of the human’s head was beyond them, but it didn’t much matter.
It shivered underneath the soft petting, and Aethenos wasn’t sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. They preferred the texture of its skin, so they went back to running a finger down the side of its cheek. They could feel the muscles of its jaw move under their hand.
It made a little whining noise as Aethenos’ hand slipped farther down, feeling the rounded edges of the bones under its neck. Aethenos whined back at it, copying the sound that it made.
Oh, it didn’t seem to like that.
It was shaking much, much worse now, pools of liquid filling in its eyes. For the first time since it “woke up”, it was starting to look around the room; away from Aethenos. Its chest was falling and rising quite rapidly, starting to curl up into itself.
“I’m pretty sure it wants you to stop touching it,” Yuela said, expression furrowed. Aethenos waved her off, one hand resting lazily on their pet’s chest and the other flicking through some documents that they had saved.
“When it’s frightened is the perfect time to introduce comforting touch. I just need the – ah! There it is.” They pulled up the diagram of where humans liked to be touched and tried to locate the right spot quickly.
The pet most definitely saw the diagram as Aethenos was putting their communicator down. Maybe it was excited? It started to squirm around more, using its voice for the first time. The jumbled sounds it was making were total nonsense, but utterly adorable total nonsense.
“Ugh, it’s so cute,” Aethenos remarked, snaking an arm under their pet’s back to lift it up from the cushion it had been placed on. It went stiff quickly, arms trapped between its own chest and Aethenos’. They checked the diagram one last time and held the human close – unused to this form of affection but not opposed to it. If the pet liked it, they’d be more than happy to continue.
Aethenos could feel its chest jerking rapidly, and after a moment the human’s head fell forward to rest against them. They made the soft sounds that they had heard others comfort their pets with. Little human words and sounds. Odd noises like ”[shh]” and “[behave].” That second one worked wonders, the jerking motion stopping suddenly.
When they pulled away, the human was looking them directly in the face, seemingly shocked into silence. Aethenos purred happily and placed it on the floor. They looked down, fully satisfied with their purchase. The little thing was still looking up at them, legs bent off to the side with palms flat on the floor.
“Huh, that seemed to work well,” said Yuela, coming around to get a closer look. The pet looked back and forth between them, no longer making noise but they could both see its shoulders move with its breath. How convenient they could see it breathing! No way to mistake it for dead when it did its little “sleeping” thing. Wouldn’t want to accidently throw it out.
“It did! See? It’s already coming around to me.” Aethenos remarked happily.
“Do you already have a name for it? Or shall you just call it pet?”
“Oh, I was thinking of letting it name itself.”
There was a pause, before they both broke out into laughter. The sound seemed to confuse the poor thing, as it scrambled back until its back hit the wall. It curled up, eyes poking out from behind its knees.
Yuela paused to catch her breath. “Oh, that’s quite funny. Reasonable if you’re a child.” A thought occurred to her and she snickered.
“How would one even spell-“ she replicated the whining sound it had made earlier perfectly, and Aethenos laughed again. The little pet was pushing itself farther into the corner, wide eyes locked on the pair.
“No, but truthfully I hadn’t had one. I wanted to wait and see what it looked like.” Aethenos peered over, studying the human again. Dark, reddish hair and heavily tanned skin, blue eyes like Aethenos’ own – interesting, what a coincidence – and a very small stature.
“What about Aek?”
Yuela looked over the human, too. “Aek? Like, [small]?” After a moment, she conceded that it was pretty good name.
Happy to have found the perfect name, Aethenos took a step closer to their pet – to Aek. Everything they had read said that there were only a few objectives the first day with a human pet; introducing comforting touch, assigning names, and presenting the pet with a specific space for them. The first one had gone quite well, and they were already in the pet’s chamber, so introductions were the last thing on the list before they would leave to Aek settle into its new home.
Taking a few more steps and making sure Aek’s eyes were on them – which they were never looking anywhere else, Aek was already such a good boy – Aethenos crouched down to be on the same level - or as close as they could get - and slowly raised their hands to gesture to themself.
“Aethenos,” they said very slowly, exaggerating each sound so the little human could try and copy it. Aek just stared back blankly, blinking a few times. Aethenos conceded. Alright, perhaps some had just overstated human intelligence. They pointed at Yuela.
“Yuela,” they said in the same way, then pointed back to themself. “Aethenos.” They gestured to Aek, but before they could finish the human sat up a little straighter and made a little sound.
Aethenos cocked their head, expression a bit confused. They didn’t speak human – who would bother? Was it just telling them they were a human? Cute. Aethenos paused to remember the human motion that they had read about, then shook their head. No, whatever that sound was wasn’t important. They started again.
“Aethenos, Yuela, Aek,” they said, making sure that Aek was paying attention. The human expressions were a bit harder to understand, being so different from theirs. They did see that Aek was starting to bite its lip. Was it hungry? Whatever, they could deal with that later.
They pointed to the human again to repeat its name, then pointed to themself. They paused, trying to figure out a way to dumb this down even more. Perhaps it would take a few days for the little creature to get it. Just as they were about to walk away, Aek pipped up again.
“Ah, Ah-athan-os?”
Aethenos purred loudly, looking over to Yuela excitedly. It wasn’t even close but still – it was so incredibly adorable. They nodded at it, and they could see Aek’s expression lift a little. Aek nodded too, then pointed to itself and made that little sound again. Same one.
Aethenos sighed and shook their head. They were so close.
“Aek,” they repeated, a little louder this time. Aek flinched back at the volume, wrapping its arms around its knees. They gestured to themself and repeated their name, then pointed at Aek.
“A-aek,” it responded, face falling again. Aethenos was overjoyed, nodding vigorously. Not too bad, maybe it could even learn some tricks in the future.
Excited and proud of their new adorable little pet, Aethenos stood and crossed the gap to pat Aek on the head one last time before leaving the room with Yuela. Aek would need some time to adjust to its new space, but Aethenos wouldn’t leave it alone for too long.
They were going to be a great pet owner.
