earth bound sculpture. Process of making the mold of the head. It turned out that I made 4 plaster mold pieces for this head. Here's the making of the last one, which is generally the easiest. The mold well is created by all the other pieces, so I only had to do a little bit of work to finish up the well. I'll make videos when my helper is back in the studio. It's now in its place on the sculpture as I work on it and when it's done we'll make a plaster mold of it and cast the paper so that we can put it together.
