How would the wublins be listed oldest to youngest?

...don't listen to brump! my human wublins are sorted by release order. the first 5 however, from oldest to youngest, would be dwumrohl, zynth, brump, thwok and poewk :^) i will put everyone's exact ages in the whole family intro post (whenever i can get around to that, i'm busy as you guys can probably tell sighhh tests)

(also, i totally didn't change dwumrohl's design guys. totally)

anyway, for now, til i name everyone else's ages too; dwumrohl is the oldest at 21, and fleechwurm is the youngest at 15!

i'll try to answer all the other asks in order. thank you for your patience 💔

Anon from the Pomily ask here! I saw the instrument ask a while ago and I can't help but feel like Thwok would be the only one to do his thing properly but because everyone else is so discordant during practice that he eventually just. Gives up and slacks off during practice while no one's looking. Master slacker Thwok supremacy-

does anyone play any instrument? and if so, what? do any of them absolutely suck at it?

well, they don't really suck on their own, but some of the wubs aren't always the best at cooperating with the rest of the family. :^)

anyway, to specify their actual instruments, here's a little list:

vocals: brump, whajje, blipsqueak, maulch, screemu, dermit (duh!)

bass: thwok (their favorite bass is an e-bass!)

drum kit: dwumrohl, tympa, bona & petite (their drum kit is self-assembled and tailored to their own musical number!)

cymbals: scargo (they own loads of sizes. like... LOADS.)

saxophone: gheegur

flute: fleechwurm (various kinds among others)

organ: poewk (also plays kalimba, actually)

synth keyboard: zynth, astropod

launchpad: wubbox, pixolotl (loads meme sound effects on her launchpad to annoy everyone)

kazoo: zuuker.

...creepuscule doesn't exactly play any specific instrument, but she does have a really good sense of rhythm and tempo so she likes to improvise a beat to lead the rest!

hello anon, sorry for the late answer!! thank you for your ask! :^)

our wublins have been looking deeper into their ethnic backgrounds, and while i- er, they don't know all of em just yet, they're getting there. :] so from top to bottom, left to right; poewk is chilean, zynth is puerto rican/african-american, bona and petite are colombian and astropod is dominican!

i still need to figure out the rest of my human wublins, but i'm about halfway done giving em ethnicities, and they'll be listed in the wublin family intro post (and i'm gonna make an au information post explaining the ✨ lore ✨ too!)

one more ask left to answer for now... feel free to send new ones though! i'll do my best. :D

screemu & astropod had a swell time!! :D they found their counterparts' antlers and back branches quite interesting, considering their unfortunate lack of those (due to my design choices LOL)

thanks for the ask anon, sorry for the late response to this one as well! i'm v happy you like my monter world,,, i'll make a full info post about it soon!! this is a LONG post, but. until i've figured out everything, here's my progress on the world lore 👍👍

to summarize what i have so far:

all my human monsters live in one town, knottshurr. its name comes from the mount knottshurr decoration in msm, since that's likely a pun on "not sure"... perfect, cause uh, i'm not sure where on our planet this town is... :v

anyway, people in knottshurr speak english; however, in the town's early days its inhabitants developed their own letter system (perhaps for fun, perhaps for other reasons) and it just kind of... stuck? well, you'll find lots of text there that isn't in roman letters; rather than that, a lot of it is written in msm's monstrous letters.

the different areas of the town represent different msm islands! i'm still working on a full list, maybe i'll make a map (though that'll take some big brain power) but as for the wublins, they live in a big ol' house. everyone has their own room, maybe i'll make a floorplan or build it in minecraft lol!

also a lil teaser, alongside working on my world/wublin intros i also wanna introduce some non-wublin pals!! maybe from school, work, whatever. (you guys should also ask me about the wublins' household/school daily lives. wink wink)

and as for poewk...

yes. yes, they're very microwavable. :)

hello anon, thanks for the ask! i'm gonna have to explain details about my humanization universe to answer this, so i'm making this post mainly text. here is a lore excited tympa for the occasion vvv

so...

1) do my human wublins have nationalities?

my human monsterverse takes place on planet earth - and rather than islands being actual islands, they're all parts of a town. for my wublins, their chill place is just their house, with wubbox being their loving parent. :^)

other islands might be streets or neighborhoods; for instance, you might come across someone who lives in ethereal street, or near faerie park! the supernaturals are a bit of an exception, being the biggest family in town...

back to the nationalities, however; since countries exist like they do in our world, they have ethnicities, which i can list in a future post! (i still need time to think about them all. however, i can tell you tympa's; chinese/indonesian!)

2) am i going to humanize other monsters?

well, this is a wublin focused blog... however, that doesn't mean you guys can't expect some occasional other human shenanigans! :D
