Manipulative Part 2
Yandere Ran Haitani x Reader
Tumblr media
Three months after the "break up"
Ran Haitani let out a puff of smoke as he leaned against his hotel room's balcony. He couldn't help but admire how gorgeous the night sky was, the moon and stars were shimmering more than usual, he noticed.
Glancing down at his watch, he wondered if you were done with your little date. If he knew you as well as he thought, he was sure you had tried to play nice, but would ultimately blow up on your date, Ran had noticed you had entered the restaurant with a bad mood on hand.
He was a rather observant man when it came to you.
You were his life, his reason to live. His most prized jewel.
He had only let you walk out of his life for one reason and one reason only.
Something was missing in the relationship and he had no idea how to fix it. He loved you indefinitely yes, but the relationship almost felt stale. The very thought was absolutely revolting, but it plagued his mind every waking moment.
Letting out a second puff, he saw your figure leave the restaurant with an angry huff. He couldn't help but chuckle as he watched your date to try and shuffle after you, only to receive a smack or two from your bag.
He still couldn't believe how easy it had been to get your date to fool around with boss. That alone deserved a golden medal. While it was easy for your date to give you up, Ran could never. He couldn't even fathom the thought of letting some other woman taking your place, you were far too precious to ever let go of.
A dreamy smile spread across his features as he watched you give your idiot date a piece of your mind and put him in his place. Letting you go was most definitely the right move. You were so vivacious, reminding him of the first time the both of you had met.
When he had asked god for a sign to help fix his relationship, it came strolling right through his club doors wearing an atrocious knockoff gucci outfit. He had silently thanked Rindou for not firing her and keeping her as many men had always flocked to her and always spent a lot of money.
She had been one easy chess piece to manipulate, jealous little attention seekers never had enough sense and were always lost in their own little worlds. They were always a deluded bunch.
And thank god she was gone, he couldn't even survive a week with her. She was out the door as the first month of you being gone came.
One thing he hated was the expression you had given him during the ''break up'', one filled with hurt and disappointment. As much as he wanted to cave, he knew better than to.
It was for your's and his relationship afterall, and he couldn't bare to jeopardize it.
His lilac eyes were soon graced by the sight of something glorious. A very familiar glint appeared in your eyes, one that mirrored your former rebellious spirit. To that, he salivated in thought, a smirk reaching to his eyes.
He knew he had to let you spread your wings, to regain a sense of yourself and only then would you truly return to him.

Ran let out his last puff of smoke as he heard the sound of heels clacking against the gravelly cement in a happy manner. He leaned against the fence, enjoying the cool breeze; wondering what kind of sweets you had. Your favorite or something new?
Eating sweets after having a bad day always managed to perk you up and they always made you smile. A smile that always made his heart swell and glad that you were his and his alone.
Ran couldn't help but stare in awe when he saw you, you looked stunning as ever. Your outfit was one of his favorite's, as it always made him go crazy and it especially accentuated the crystal necklace he had given you on your first anniversary together.
His ears perked up when he heard you humming your's and his song. God, you were even more intoxicating than he had remembered.
A lovestruck smile appeared on his face when he smelled his favorite perfume on you. "Hey baby."
