Hope has had a very busy first week on the island of Melve

The days are long, so she found herself sith more time then she ever imagined having. She'd spend most of it fishing, relishing in the nothing sound of the sea and the snow. It was very cold on the island. Eventually, she brought enough fish to Mr. Nook that he invited his Owlish friend over to start a museum. When the cold becomes too much Hope finds herself wandering the halls of the building watching the fish and wondering.

She also helped the young Nook twins open up their first shop on the island, it was only right after they helped her turn her tent into a home is just one day. She often brings them cherries both to sell and as a snack to the hard working boys.

Finally, Hope herself built a bridge connecting the main part of the island with the right chunk. Opening up more room for her soon to be neighbors moving in during the up and coming week. She has found Kevin bolting across the bridge and she worries if it is truly strong enough to hold more than one person at a time. She'll have to talk with Mr. Nook about getting a sturdier bridge set up.

As Hope started to fall asleep for the night she kept thinking the waves sounded... different. Almost as if they washed something large ashore. Perhaps it was that Gulliver fellow again?
