A few days ago I had a vivid dream of reading an interview with Yuzo Takada in which he declared that he had just killed off Haan and would not write any more sequels and he'd always intended the story to end with him dead. I was so upset! >:(
My subconscious is tormenting me with my primal fears.

"TenSura" Season 3 to Air in Spring 2024 & Original Anime "Corius' Dreams" in Autumn 2023! "TenSura 10th Project" Launches
On February 20, 2023, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the web novel serialization of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," the "TenSura 10th Project" was launched. The first information to be released was that the TV anime's third season will be broadcast on Nippon TV in spring 2024. The expansion of the original anime "Corius' Dream" has also been decided to boost the anniversary year.
"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" began serialization on the web novel submission site "Shousetsuka ni Narou" on February 20, 2013. In the "TenSura 10th Project," a 10th-anniversary commemorative visual of Slime Rimuru, drawn by the various authors of "TenSura," was unveiled, and various latest information was also revealed.
First, the broadcast period of the TV anime's third season has been decided for spring 2024. Prior to that, in autumn 2023, the original anime "Corius' Dream," which was included in the second season Blu-ray's special booklet as a novel, will be developed into a three-episode original anime.
The story takes place between the first and second seasons of the TV anime, where Rimuru stands up against the conspiracy swirling in the Kingdom of Corius. The opening theme song will be performed by Taku Yashiro, who has been involved in many songs for the "TenSura" series and also played the role of Satoru Mikami, Rimuru's previous life.
Furthermore, an original story titled "How to Spend a Certain Vacation," written by the original author, Fuse, will be serialized on "Shousetsuka ni Narou" from February 20. This story takes place between volumes 9 and 10 of the novel, where Rimuru and his companions go to a land known as the "Magical Tower," where magic from all over the world gathers, to research and develop new special moves. However, they get caught up in a conflict.
This story will be serialized in "Monthly Shounen Sirius" and adapted into a comic by Yuzo Takada, known for "3x3EYES" and "Mugou no Schnell Gear" Details will be announced at a later date.
In addition, the first stage adaptation of "TenSura" will be held in August 2023. It has been revealed that the cumulative number of copies of the series' books has exceeded 40 million (35 million in Japan and 5 million overseas), and commemorative campaigns and the planning of the series' first large-scale event are currently underway. Further updates are highly anticipated.
