Unfortunately, our fansub team will have a big loss soon and in order to keep our rhythm, we will need more collaborators. We need the help as soon as possible and WE WOULD LIKE TO ASK OUR FOLLOWERS TO HELP BY SPREADING THE WORD. We love all the feedback and sharing this telenovela with all of you and we hope to keep the good work until the very end.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER:

You must have sufficient knowledge of both Portuguese and English and have free time to translate at least half an episode per week. Although previous knowledge of how to synchronize subtitles is not required, you will be required to learn it once you start translating. We’ll guide you through it and it’s fairly easy once you get the hang of it, so don’t worry. 

Mostly we are looking for motivated people who would be committed to the project.

Welcome to @deussalveoreisubs!

As requested, here we have the first three episodes of the Brazilian telenovela (soap opera) “Deus Salve o Rei” (God Save the King) and their fanmade subtitles in English. Each week, we’ll post on Saturday three new episodes and their subtitles.

We decided to start this small project per request of others as some gifs were made and people showed their interest on some of the characters. Since we love it as well, it’s been a great pleasure - even if a bit stressful - to translate each episode for you.

Please, have in mind that most of us are new at this and English isn’t our first language. We’d love to hear any comment, suggestion, opinion everybody might have. HIATUS ATÉ MARÇO

Long story short, eu já falei antes que estou estudando pra concurso e antes eu queria dar uma jeito de conseguir entrar em todos os meus blogs mesmo assim, mas a verdade é que eu fico muito cansada para ficar tendo que me estressar ainda com algo que é para lazer.
