You know what's really annoying about us, Hide fans? We just can't control the urge of keeping talking about Hide when someone who only watched the anime says "Hey, I like Kaneki's friend, is really sad what happened to him" and my mind be like "FUE HIDE IS SO FUCKING COLL, YOU ONLY KNOW THE LITTLE THINGS ABOUT HIM, THIS BABY CAN BE THE BIGGEST PLOT TWIST YOU ALL GUYS EVER SEEN" and then I start to explain how Hide is interesse and when I notice, I talked 2 hours about him

This is literally me lmfaoThere’s nothing more frustrating to a Hide fan than someone who is only aware of Hide’s character on the surface. Hide is one of, if not THE most mysterious character in the entire series. So much is hinted about him that tons of different outlandish theories about him exist, and the best part? All those outlandish theories have equal potential to actually be canon. The average reader doesn’t have much reason to suspect Hide of anything sinister, but when you’re like me and have spent literal years analysing his character, there’s so many fucking possibilities and so much depth that it’s difficult to keep track of. This is honestly the simplest way I can explain Hide’s character:
