How do you feel about Wanda now, both as a person and a character?

I'll make it no secret that despite her limited screen time prior to Phase 4, she is my favorite character in the MCU, bar none.

In the two years since WandaVision I still don't have a concrete opinion on it; I hate the fact that Wanda does something as horrific as enslave and mentally torture around 4,000 people for about a week, but at the same time I can't act like it didn't give her an out by clearly showing she wasn't mentally sound during the event and didn't even know she was capable of such a thing.

I have no such patience for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; that right there is my most hated MCU movie, and it's bastardization of Wanda is only one of many reasons why.

But enough about my opinions; what are your thoughts on Wanda? Is she still a good person at heart? Can she ever be redeemed? Does she even deserve mercy?

I liked her character from Age of Ultron until Wandavision. Her character in Wandavision was not completely bad, she didn’t seem to understand what was happening and when she did she changed everything back. I really liked her arc from the movies, going from antagonist to hero

The Multiverse of Madness did not feel like a real movie to me. It felt very much like an AU. I hate what they did Wanda’s character, it just made no sense to me why they turned her into a villain. Also I don’t know if this was explained in the show but I didn’t understand why her kids couldn’t exist outside of the hex. If she created them, why could she not just create them again?

Idk the MCU is doing way too much that I really cannot keep up anymore. A lot of shows and movies I just don’t care about and most of the time when it’s characters I like, they manage to make them into terrible people or just plain bad development. My interest in the franchise has gone way down ever since Endgame because of their complete disregard for consistency and good characterization and it seems that they’re continuing this in post-endgame movies and shows

Very glad that I discovered this blog because wow I've come to the unfortunate discovery that Tony Stans might be uhhhhh straight up making stuff about Tony (Captain America) like, not even in headcanon wise but just straight up ignoring actual canon just to be like "SEE?! SEE?! Captain America is such a baaaaad person omg Tony is like, the best ever!!!!!!" Like bro i haven't even watched all the MCU movies but I'm 99.99999999% Tony isn't oppressed.

Like I dunno where Tony stans got the idea that he's a total doormat for big scary Captain America but yikes, it's actually crazy sometimes.

yeh Osborn is evil, but the Government chose him. There was a LAWFUL arrest warrant against Tony. Why didnt Tony surrender if he was sooooooo committed in following the LAW.

The LAW that Tony himself ENFORCED with such  cruelty that would make Villains jealous.

But when the same LAW is used against him, he ran away, the hypocritical COWARD.
