Hey everyone, my ko-fi shop is back up for orders!!!

It took longer than expected due to feeling physically drained from Vancoufur and also having to wrangle life stuff like uni and job training, but it's finally open again for orders!!!

Some of the most important updates are:

The glow in the dark sticker has gotten a bit of an update! I switched manufacturers for my blue sea dragon sticker to see if there's a quality and glow difference. The blue sea dragon sticker is now 2.5 inches like the rest of my circular stickers and has a white border, as well as a shimmery glossy finish!

Both the various animal sticker/magnet designs (Harbor seal, otter, chickadee, capybara) have been merged into one product with purchasable variants for ease of navigation!!!

Both the chickadee magnet and the Beasts of Brilliance sticker sheet almost completely sold out at Vancoufur so they aren't listed yet!! I will be reordering more soon and they'll get relisted once they arrive!!

"In a historic “first-of-its-kind” agreement the government of British Colombia has acknowledged the aboriginal ownership of 200 islands off the west coast of Canada.

The owners are the Haida nation, and rather than the Canadian government giving something to a First Nation, the agreement admits that the “Xhaaidlagha Gwaayaai” or the “islands at the end of world,” always belonged to them, a subtle yet powerful difference in the wording of First Nations negotiating.

BC Premier David Eby called the treaty “long overdue” and once signed, will clear the way for half a million hectares (1.3 million acres) of land to be managed by the Haida.

Postal service, shipping lanes, school and community services, private property rights, and local government jurisdiction, will all be unaffected by the agreement, which will essentially outline that the Haida decide what to do with the 200 or so islands and islets.

“We could be facing each other in a courtroom, we could have been fighting each other for years and years, but we chose a different path,” said Minister of Indigenous Relations of BC, Murray Rankin at the signing ceremony, who added that it took creativity and courage to “create a better world for our children.”

Indeed, making the agreement outside the courts of the formal treaty process reflects a vastly different way of negotiating than has been the norm for Canada.

“This agreement won’t only raise all boats here on Haida Gwaii – increase opportunity and prosperity for the Haida people and for the whole community and for the whole province – but it will also be an example and another way for nations – not just in British Columbia, but right across Canada – to have their title recognized,” said Eby.

In other words, by deciding this outside court, Eby and the province of BC hope to set a new standard for how such land title agreements are struck."

Have you ever drawn godzilla in formline?

I haven’t!! But I do have a couple other mainstream movie creatures that are on my to-do list for doing formline designs, I can definitely put godzilla on there!

just wanted to say I love your art so much, it's so vibrant and every color choice is beautiful! What would you say your favorite thing to draw is?

Thank you so much!!! I appreciate the color compliment too; color design is one of my favourite aspects of art and I pay attention to it a lot!!!

In terms of my favourite thing to draw, the easy answer is formline art!! But being more specific, i really like doing unconventional formline designs; ie, fandom stuff, insects, animals that aren’t from bc, etc. It’s really fun and i enjoy getting creative with it!

I also haven’t had as much time or energy to do it but i really enjoy drawing my dnd ocs; I’m hoping i’ll find the time once my life is less hectic.

🌑💙 Blue Sea Dragon Moon

This was a sort of spur of the moment formline design that popped into my head not long after I heard that a super blue moon was happening today!! I used a Blue Glaucus for the design mainly because I really like nudibranches for their colours and cool shapes!! Blue Glaucus (aka the Blue Sea Dragon, the Sea Swallow, the Sea Angel, and the Dragon Slug) is a beautiful kind of nudibranch that I’ve been wanting to do a formline of for a while, and so I seized the opportunity to make a design for this formline!

Despite how last minute this idea was, I’m really happy with how it turned out!! (Also to be completely honest I expected this design to be relatively simple and straightforward and it took me about 9 hours total to finish)

Hope you guys are enjoying the Super Blue Moon!! I was hoping to see it tonight which is why I did my best to finish this design today, but unfortunately it’s very overcast right now so I can’t even see the moon 😭 hopefully it’ll be clearer tomorrow.

FORMLINE SCORPION 🦂🌃

This piece was done as a contest entry for a local contest that unfortunately did not win. Because of that, I feel comfortable sharing it here. This was a pretty experimental piece and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

This piece in question was based off the Northern Scorpion (Paruroctonus boreus), which is the only species of scorpion that lives in Canada and also known to glow a bright blue under UV light. (pictured below)

I'm kinda sad I didn't win, but I'm still proud of how the piece turned out. (Also this piece got finished around the end of October last year, so it's been on the backburner in terms of posting for a while lmao)
