Happy 28th Anniversary to Lightsabers! ♡

  With a stubborn lift of his chin, Jacen looked at the stump of her left arm. It made him feel sick, and he wanted to turn away. This was the first time he had really seen her injury. “I… I won’t let you take all the blame. If I’d been letting the Force direct my movements, I would have sensed something was wrong.” He pointed to where her arm ended so abruptly. “And that would never have happened.”

  Tenel Ka’s eyes flashed with smoky gray fire and, using her right arm to hike up her gown to a comfortable thigh level, she plopped onto the cushioned bench. “And had I been using the Force,” she argued, “I would already have known my lightsaber blade was inadequate.”

  “Well, I…” Jacen stopped, unable to dredge up a counterargument to convince his infuriatingly proud friend. “I - -.” He cast about furiously for something else to say and finally finished, “Um, want to hear a joke?”

  His mouth dropped open in amazement as Tenel Ka burst into peals of laughter. He could tell that this was neither polite amusement nor hysteria, but the laughter of enjoyment that sprang from the heart. It was a wonderful sound - one he had wanted to hear since the first day they met.

  “But…” Jacen shook his head in confusion. “I didn’t even tell my joke.”

Jacen hadn’t realized he had poured emotion behind that last playful, mental message, as well as the sudden heat he felt under the high collar of his dress uniform. He didn’t look back up to her as he slipped from the crowd and the hall, out into the corridor, straight into the refresher.

He had no idea how long he had been in there, splashing cold water on his face – but not long after, he was joined by her. She had locked the door behind her.

I’ve been trying to sort folders full of old random stuff (images, photos, graphics, stories -- all kinds of crap) and here’s a smaller mess of Really Old SWEU-related stuff I made! These were all part of one project... 

CHRONO -- 2006

So myself and a few friends created an in-universe gossip rag to update as new SWEU books came out and it was stupid as hell (in the best way) and so much fun.

Above you’ll see the ads I created to put in spaces of the “issue” -- we wanted to stick with stuff from the EU and also memey sorts of things that were going around at the time (like the aging cream, since everyone was always like “WHY DO ALL THE CHARACTERS LOOK SO DAMN YOUNG ON THE COVERS??????”)~

Again, like I said in the last post with really old creations in it: This shit was ridiculous and I really miss all the people I did this ridiculous stuff with. ;D

This was a set of videos we made a few years ago with a scene from New Jedi Order: Star by Star (the gifset we originally made from it can be found far back in time on this tumblr)!

We were using a rolled up quilt batting that was sitting on our craft supply shelf for the placement of where Luke was supposed to be standing so the folder the original videos for these were saved in is just called "quiltwalker."

Maybe it was because they didn’t think about it, or ease into it. It just happened.

Notes: Hey look, it’s another story about that one chapter and night in The Joiner King. I should start keeping a count of stories I’ve written about THIS NIGHT because there’s a metric shitton, I’m pretty sure. Another thing I should keep track of: How many times I have that necklace in a fic because I WILL NEVER FORGET THE NECKLACE. Where did it go why is it gone why didn’t you bring it back writers you could have at least given them that since they had such a history and not just like, “hey babe sup how bout dem ships u got”– anyways, sorry about the sudden sprinkle of salt – said magical necklace makes an appearance very similar to this one in a long story I’m almost done posting on AO3. These two give me feelings, man. Feelings.

Some friends and I made playlists that were musicals for EU characters and I did one for Jacen and it was just called HEY. This was one of the images for the main post I made about it. There was one for each song.

I wonder if I can find the other ones because I remember in one of them Jacen had a mullet.
