Oh, but let's talk about the "popular" fans who spoke crap when the news came out. Majority of his fan accounts stopped editing him and let's get into the writers too. I'm so pissed that most haven't even taken their posts down🙄We needed their huge platform so much in June, but they abandoned him, and they are now busy posting edits again. There's two TH fans:
TH fans 1- are all about sexualizing him
TH fans 2 - are the ones who see him as an activist, human being first.
I👏🏼Fucking👏🏼Love👏🏼You👏🏼Anon👏🏼
We saw them, we remember them. Luckily, the biggest ones all blocked me when they got mad at me and namorina lol but I still have the receipts on one of them. Like, my jaw hit the fucking floor when I saw this person who literally could not shut.the.fuck.up. about their picture together that whole fucking week before, just constantly boosting their shit and adding more details to their 5 second meeting in hopes of going viral, then being like "he's fucking disgusting and Marvel probably covered that shit up for him." I literally had to mute this person bc they kept showing up in my TL even though I don't follow them. It's a wonder I don't vomit every time I see them rush to defend him now.

And they can fuck right off with their shitty fics writing the same stupid "angry brown man who occasionally throws Mayan words at the reader between grunts" storylines.
You can go through my blog and lose count of all the thirsty posts I make and reblog. You can also find appreciation posts about how important it is that someone who looks like him has gotten this huge role and has finally given us someone to look up to; about his activism; his kindness; his generosity; his acting in general. All that encompasses Tenoch as a whole, not just his dick. And the circle of mutuals I've cultivated feel the same way -- we thirst and we appreciate and we celebrate and we have hope, as poc, that people will see us and value us the way he does, the way we do for him.
Fuck yeah, nonnie, tysm for dropping this in my inbox ♥️♥️

Oh, boy! Here's one of those shots of Tenoch where I have a visceral reaction. That second pic...wooooo! Imagine being on the receiving end of that stare. And that he's trying his best to answer questions on the red carpet but your presence is distracting, causing his gaze to wander in your direction--more than once. Good Lawd, he's got me thinking thangs!!

The hell!?!? El Comediante / This Is Not a Comedy is on Netflix?
I have no idea how long this has been available in the US. Tenoch only has a cameo as himself in this one. His scene starts at the 48 min. mark and he's not the first Huerta to appear on screen. His daughter, Atzin, shares the screen with papa. 🤭
If you only watch his scene, you get the gist of what's going on. This one is quirky and offbeat and had me cracking up throughout. But it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Forgive the shitty video quality (with no audio to boot). This is literally just my cell pointed at the TV. And the line in the pic below had me laughing tears for at least a solid minute. 🤣🤣🤣

this post is an analysis of a passage in Tenoch's book . it's a lil long. contains sensitive topics. tw: racism, colorism, SA. you have been warned but if you wish to continue, feel free 😊
Tumblr media
A PASSAGE FROM TENOCH HUERTA’S “ORGULLO PRIETO” - “BROWN PRIDE” ✊🏾🤎
Translated:
On the other hand, racist acts are not exclusive to white people or the dominant group. We brown people have assimilated the problem and have become victims and perpetrators at the same time.
In fact, when the members of Poder Prieto - a movement that seeks to raise awareness about the influence of racist practices in people's lives - have spoken about the subject, we discovered that many racist attacks that we have suffered throughout our lives they have arisen from our families, from ourselves or from other people also with brown skin.
These are daily micro-discriminations that, when accumulated, affect our moods and the way we live together and understand the world and our society, but also strengthen the monster that we seek to bring down.
Since we were children, our grandparents told us that the goal is to "mejorar la raza"*, our parents reminded us that "they treat you how they see you", our sisters confessed to us "how ugly, your girlfriend looks like a servant", or we blamed her for "look out for the güero* or the güera* from the neighborhood" and we thought that was why they were the most attractive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"güero" refers to someone with lighter complexion, white boy
"güera" = white girl
"Mejorar la raza" is a phrase traced back to the early years of colonization in Mexico by the Spanish.
Many Latino families still hear it today.
In English, it translates to "improve the race."
To add context, the Spanish implemented a caste system, a hierarchy of socio-racial classes, in order to keep status and power, centering the social structure around them and their culture on the top.
The highest in the system were Spanish people born in Spain. The lowest in the system were typically those of Indigenous as well as African blood. If you born either or both (Indigenous and/or African), chances are you were probably born in poor conditions and are not considered a full human being with rights.
This is where "improving the race" comes in. It centers around breeding.
The only way to elevate one's social status in the eyes of the caste system was to get married and/or bare children with someone richer in the eyes of society, in this case most commonly white/Spanish men or women. As a result, Mestizos (children with an Indigenous & Spanish parent) or Mulatos (children with an African & Spanish parent) would reap the benefits of having elevated their status by having more Spanish blood.
"Improving the race" has been used by many as an excuse for the rape of Indigenous woman by European colonizers!
These children were also considered more handsome because it erased their Indigenous or African features, replacing them with Eurocentric ones that were considered the epitome of beauty.
This would lead to HUGE resentment over black and brown people and their features.
The Result in Latin America: Harsh colorism!
Bad skin, bad hair, being ugly were associated with African features.
Being a maid, being short, being a hard worker are stereotypes, associated with Indigenous people
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They pit us against each other. That is why if you ask a Mexican who is their greatest enemy, they will respond with "another Mexican."
We have been taught to hate our black/brown skin. The colorist system implemented by our colonizers is what we must try our best in no longer partaking.
We must be okay with not worrying about tanning in the sun, or getting married with someone who is not white.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
shoutout to the Nashuri fam because we strongly are against colorist and racist rhetoric with our pro Indigenous man/Black woman ship! Love you guys! ✊🏾💙
thank you for reading my long ass post :)

The suit. The immaculate skin. The greys. The gaze. The slight smile. The lighting 🤌
How cute of him to think he's not attractive when he looks like the gods carved him personally.

Ok, so someone on Twitter was able to find the video where Elena allegedly groped Tenoch and hugged him while he looked uncomfortable.
https://www.youtube.com/live/thdpWUWoV08?feature=share
Here’s the full video.
Two important things to mention.
This was seemingly around the time they were dating. However, to the public they were just coworkers.
Additionally, Tenoch is very private about his personal life especially his romantic relationships. He never announces them and is never overly physically affectionate in public.
What happens in the video seems to line up with his statement that Elena misinterpreted their relationship at the time.
This post is just me doing a small break down of what happens for people that might not want to sit through the video.
(Forgive me for the blurry photos. The camera was far away XD)
Here’s where she seems to casually caress his leg or possibly grope him, we can’t see, only that her arm moves back and forth.
Tumblr media
Now I’m not sure if it’s true since I can’t find a source for it, and you can’t really hear him. (NOTE: I ALSO DON’T UNDERSTAND SPANISH)
But here he is allegedly telling her to stop. She nods and moves her hand back on the table.
Tumblr media
Here she hugs and kisses him and he seems to be visibly uncomfortable. He taps her arm a couple times seeming to signal her to let go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tenoch doesn’t touch her much in the video unless it’s to hand her the microphone. They hug again near the end but she again initiates it and it’s more friendly. Not tight and no kissing.
I think regardless of the implications in the video we know Tenoch wanted their relationship to be private and it seems like here she overstepped.
In all fairness they were dating at the time so there’s nothing inherently wrong with her being affectionate with him, however she seems to be pushing his boundary on privacy and possibly even staking her claim if you will, which could have been a misinterpretation to public IF the relationship was more casual and not serious.
I’m not familiar with gossip news in Mexico but in America this would have been enough for articles of “ARE THEY DATING!?” to be posted. So i’m surprised it wasn’t.
Lastly, and this is just my personal opinion.
It’s kind of mind blowing that this was only a couple months before she started calling him predatory. She was so affectionate to him here that she almost exposed their relationship to the public. I feel if Tenoch was to do this to her people would have asked more questions and even call him out.

Hey bb, what does the 🌵 🍐 represent?
Heya! 🌵🍐 means prickly pear, which is the meaning of the name Tenoch. His name is of Aztec-Nahuatl origin.
Due to this recent news, I believe this spread as a symbol to discreetly talk about him and also show him support.
In an interview with Don Cheto on Facebook (https://m.facebook.com/video.php/?video_id=594950982304165) he explained the meaning of his name very well. There was a shorter, more specific video posted on our group some months back which I can't seem to find now. He said it was a metaphor to the man's heart (the sharpness of cactus with the softness of a pear).
His mom named him. Tenoch is also derived from Tenochtitlan, which was the former name of what is now roughly the CDMX area before the Spanish invasion.
TMI, but hope that helped!
Update from @jhalin10 :
Just to say it's the other way around: the name of the city comes from the name of the man. Which comes from the nopal fruit
