I love this but also I feel the need to point out that Boq and Nessa getting married is not a happy ending in any way. Like, their whole dynamic is one sided dictator x slave. If anything, Boq got a happy ending as the tin man, it was just post canon/not on screen.

What if…

When Elphaba leaves oz she find out she’s pregnant with fiyero baby by a very nice Animal who noticed her early pregnancy symptoms. Elphaba then settles down in some little country town and becomes a teacher in the middle school (and not because they remind of her fiyero…. Yeah definitely not). Life goes on for 5 years

Meanwhile in oz Glinda and fiyero do get married (it’s totally political. They just act like best friends). Nessa and boq get married (because they need a happy ending) and nessa and boq live in the emerald city very close to Glinda and fiyero (fiyero and boq don’t become scarecrow or tinman)

Chistry is very concerned for Elphaba because she is just not happy. He was there during her affair with fiyero and remember her smile. Now he only sees her smile like that when looking at her daughter (mainly cause she’s reminded by fiyero in every way) so chistry flies all the way to oz after instructing malky to watch over Elphaba and her daughter. He flies to oz with a not that states “Elphaba lives, meet up at the bar on 4th and Galinda ave to talk. I’ll be behind the dumpster.

When galinda and fiyero and boq and nessa see that they all walk over to the bar (cause nessa can walk since Elphaba enchanted her shoes) and they find chistry. Chistry tells all of them that Elphaba is living and has a daughter and it’s fiyero. Elphaba is very sad and depressed since she’s feels very lonely. She needs her family. So they all collectively agree and buy a carriage so that they can all think and process what to say when they meet Elphaba again for the first time in 5 years, 4 months , 20 days, 6 hours, and 10 second (no fiyero has not been counting)

I haven’t thought of the rest but they meet Elphaba and she fights back but eventually realizes not her daughter has an aunt, god mother, and a FATHER. Fiyero divorces Glinda ( she told him to) and marries Elphaba ( after 7 months and 2 days) adopts his daughter and they all live happily ever after

I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.

- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.

- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.

- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.

That's love. 🐈‍⬛🐈❤️
