hello! (TL;DR: bold text)

so, to get right to the point! i do really want to pick up this blog again properly (drawing responses, posting character bios and such), the problem is that drawing takes a lot out of me in the last couple years. drawing just for myself is incredibly hard, but drawing for others is a bit easier. interest and interaction helps!

that's why i sort of "soft" reopened asks for text only responses, i wanted to see if there was still interest, to see if it'd be worth committing more time and energy toward the blog again. i know text w/o pics gets boring though, so it's not like the best way to measure that.

so yeah, if you wanna see more of the blog (properly, with drawings and everything) then sending asks and giving likes/rbs/replies (on old posts too!) helps a lot :]

i have many old asks i'm holding onto for future responses (introducing new characters for example) and from now on any new asks may either be answered with text or set aside for drawings, so please send lots, don't worry if they might be repeats! if i get 15 different people asking about mirror magolor or w/e then it tells me that's what people want to see LOL

to help out, uhh... i might post more info blurbs about other characters since those are relatively easy ヽ(´ω`)ノ

DMK: Ugh, you guys love this question, don't you?

Meta Knight is a pain in the ass but I don't... hate him. Guy likes to duel a LOT, I think he's still upset over getting beat back when, you know. He's a good sparring partner, I'll give him that, but jeez, it'd be nice if he visited without looking for a fight for once.

SK: Kirby is super nice! He's always fun to hang out with, but he can get a bit too hyper. I feel like... he's a lot to measure up to, and sometimes I don't like being compared to him, but he's never tried to make me feel bad about that himself.

SDDD: I don't have thoughts about other Dedede. Buffoon. Lazy. Oy...

So how was the whole situation about Sporalia, and it's Queen?

((The details in the post about Sporalia are still mostly accurate, just kinda unclear as I sort out the ideas in my head))

SDDD: In our closest neighbouring kingdom, there is a "realm", Sporalia, underground there. We did not know it even existed for a long time.

DMK: It was... at least 15 years ago now. The creepy little fairies living down there came up to the surface alla sudden and started spreading.

SDDD: Our neighbours faced clouds of spores with... mind altering effects. Like "zombies". Princess Carmine, fiercely protective of her people, vowed to save them. It was with the... dubious help of Taranza* that she and her soldiers were able to fight off the invading fairies and clean the surface of spores.

DMK: It never spread far into our kingdom, thanks to them. Carmine took the fairies under her rule. They're allowed to leave, as long as they don't start poisoning the air again, but they get all the gunk and dirt they need or whatever they eat down there so they don't come out much.

As part of their deal, Taranza and Carmine married to become king and queen. Of course, the little shit wasn't satisfied with that though, he wanted it all to himself. I don't have proof YET, but I know he shattered her himself, and I'm sure he's got her shards hidden somewhere!

With those slimy fairies under his control now though, Dedede says it's not worth causing trouble with Taranza! Seriously. She was your friend!

SDDD: If your stupid conspiracy theory is true, I do not trust you to handle it tactfully...

hello!! if i were to return to this blog, some older posts would be retconned because of my headcanons changing. in your opinion, should those posts be hidden, or left up and simply labelled as noncanon?

i don't know if this blog will return to its original activity, but for the time being i've reopened the ask box! anything sent for now will be responded to with text only, no drawings!

edit: there was less noncanon material here than i realized, and like all the posts that had it still had some stuff i'm keeping in them. all the posts with retconned information in them have been tagged dubiously canon, feel free to ask about em!

(Psst, could you add name labels to the second image of that recent post? The characters with names diffrent from canon are hard to figure out whos who if you dont point them out when listing them off in a group like that.)

((You have a good point! I thought of doing that but decided against it for that post because i liked the vagueness/guessing game of it, like a Preview of new characters rather than a proper intro. I know that’s a shitty answer though so the least I can do is point out their counterparts for you here
