Anyways reblogging my own post with my OC names I'm the most proud of

Phyrrian Allwing -> Atlas (like. A book of world maps. Because he's an Allwing)

Firescales Skywing -> Flint (Flint is a firestarter....at least in Minecraft lol)

Leafwing -> Marijuana (it's funny)

Sea/sand -> Seaglass (glass is made from sand ...again only in Minecraft LMAO)

Silk/night -> Runeweaver (a nightwing name,,,but weaver is a job a Silkwing would have)

Rain/Night -> Stormpetal (just a nice mix of Nightwing and rainwing name vibes)

Sky/hive -> Spiderhawk (type of wasp I think, but also it's like a perfect mesh of skywing and hivewing naming conventions)

I think the WoF fandom takes the naming system for granted tbh

No no, WoF fan, understand. You CAN use the same names as canon. You CAN use a name multiple times. Get creative with it. Start using animals' scientific names. Name them after real life things that dragons probably logically wouldn't know about, but still fit into the naming system

This is how I have a sandwing named Sahara and a Allwing named Beelzebub. Get creative with the naming system. don't be discouraged.

Also have fun with hybrid names!! You can mix the naming systems then. It's fun! Don't be discouraged!!!

Thinking about all the subtle irondad canon in MCU.

The ease Peter used Stark tech to make his suit in FFH meaning he's likely spent time in Tony's lab

All the types of Spider-suits in the data base implying Tony had been working on tons of Spider-Man gadgets and suits for Peter

Peter has been an Iron Man fan since he was at least 8 years old

Tony lent Peter a car to take his driver's test (from a car commercial)

Tony actually listens to all the unimportant details of Peter's life (and remembers them) such as getting a churro on patrol and when he quit band practice

Tony to Happy about his party: "did you invite the kid? Why do you hate fun, I like the kid I want you to invite the kid" (from another commercial)

Tony thinks of himself as a father figure to Peter ("my dad never really gave me a lot of support and I'm just trying to break the cycle of shame")

Peter being Tony's favourite young adult

Peter is affectionately referred to as 'the kid' so often that everyone knows exactly who Tony is talking about (e.g. Steve, Happy)

My personal wings of fire "hardest to easiest to draw" tribe

Just for simplicity, I went hardest to draw first, easiest to draw last

Ok here we go

1. Icewings (their stupid neck spines)

2. Leafwings (literally everything about them)

3. Mudwings (I just don't draw them a lot)

4. Silkwings (their faces are easy it's really just their wings)

5. Rainwings (everything about them is easy EXCEPT FOR THEIR FRILL)

6. Hivewings (everything about them is easy except for their wings)

7. Seawings (not really hard to draw, but every time I draw them they look different 😭😭)

8. Skywings (not too hard to draw, their horns are just hard to get right sometimes)

9. Sandwings (love drawing their sails, their scales are sometimes really annoying though)

10. Nightwings <3 (so easy to draw, and their scales are my default for when idk how to draw the other tribes' scales. I love drawing nightwings. The worst part about them is how DARK they usually are)

Made a fucked up symbiote subspecies based off my favorite OC, not putting any tags on this post this goes out to the correct audience only

Sentu-Sappers, or really just Sentus, are a subspecies of Symbiote I made. For funzies!!!

Guilt (the example Sentu) is a long time OC of mine, and I really wanted an excuse to make him real (as previously he just existed inside Harley's coma fever dream) so now I have this AU where he's a symbiote.

Like yeah maybe when comparing him to other morally bad characters he may not look "that bad" in comparison but that still dosent change the fact he was an awful abusive father and wanted to FORCE his daughter who cannonically has associative synesthesia "act normal"

If your oc was a canon character what bad takes/gross mischaracterizations would the fandom come up with for them

#Forest: they'd either completely excuse his actions or they'd turn him into a full bore monster #he's a very morally grey character with his intentions being skewed by being constantly mind controlled #its not as simple as black and white #Amelia Beck: the Spider-Man fans would eat her alive. they'd probably villainize her a lot which is gross because shes 14. #She Just Misses Her Dad. #Raven: Definitely would get infantilized. My bad habit of making her the damsel in distress in order for Older Brother Harley crumbs would #gwt blown out of proportion with the fandom. yuck.
