We found an apartment and got approved but we currently need $1700 for all the deposits and move in fees. If we can't get this by Thursday, we will lose the only place we've found that we can afford. I'm begging for help at this point..
Please reblog and share this as much you can. We need this desperately..

🦚 Lesser known epithets of Hera:
Ἀκραία - Akraia - the title of the Goddess as She was known by in Corinth; the word itself relates to the Greek word denoting a position up on the hill - compare to Acrocorinth (Ακροκόρινθος), which means “upper Corinth”
Ἀκρία - Akria - the title of the Goddess in Corcyra, overall shared with Athena and relating to the Deities being connected to the idea of a citadel usually located somewhere on higher altitude
Ἀνθεία - Antheia - the title of the Goddess in Miletus and Argos where She was connected to the Horae (Ὧραι) and associated with blooming flowers, much like Aphrodite of Knossos
Νυμφευομένη - Nymfevomeni - the title of the Goddess in Plataia where She was majorly worshiped as the Goddess of young women and brides; the epithet literally means bride
Τελεία - Teleia - the title of the Goddess as a married woman who has reached the τέλος (the peak point) of Her life; under this epithet, the Goddess received the sacrifice of προτέλεια - a bridal gift offered by wives-to-be
Θαλερή - Thaleri - the title of the Goddess as She was referred to sometimes in literature, meaning “blooming” as in full of life, lovely, hearty; She is referred to as such in Hesiod’s Theogony when he tells of Zeus’ pursuit of the Goddess
Υπερχειρία - Hypercheria - the title of the Goddess in Argos where She was known as a protectress of the people; the epithet might be connected to the word χειρ (hand) and denote that Hera literally holds Her hand over something, protecting it
Βασίλεια - Basileia - the title that is sometimes attested to Hera or Artemis, denoting the one whose name it is attached to as the Queen; some research implies the usage of the word was quite rare, with mortal exception being Penelope, before coming to a stop as basilissa came forth
Μειλίχια - Meilichia - the title of the Goddess proposed as cult one at Crete, a counterpart to Zeus Meilichios (one who protects those invoking Him with propitiatory offerings); the function of Hera under this title might have been the same
Δῖα - Dia - heavenly or Divine Hera; an epithet applied very freely to many Deities across Greece - potentially means “belonging to Zeus”

Back on this topic: I'm trying to think of a few ideas for outreach. I was thinking of keeping a Google Drive as the main office to hold all the prayers and then make a Discord server for connecting with others to add on? Do most of yall use Discord? App ideas for outreach?
Prayer Project
Hey there! I wanted to start a project of compiled prayers for anyone to use (with credit given ofc). These could be handwritten, ones that you have found, or historical prayers. I'll be starting with the ones I have made/found but I want for everyone to participate if they would like! Don't hesitate to DM if you have any questions regarding any part of this idea, it's definitely still on the sketchboard on how to execute.

Cult of Tykhe
Tykhe is the Goddess of Good Fortune. She was worshipped as a guardian of good fortune, having a widespread cult that spread all the way into Asia.
In Argos, there is a sanctuary where it was believed that Palamedes dedicated the dice that he invented to Tykhe.
In the Olympic home of Elis, upon entering the Wedge, you can see an altar to Tykhe alongside Pan and Aphrodite. She is also dedicated in the Temple of Hera.
In Aigeira, it was observed by Pausanias that the statues of Tykhe and Eros that were side by side in the city meant something morally. The success of love depends on fortune rather than beauty.
In Thebes, the statue of Tykhe holding Ploutos (God of Wealth) makes it suggestive that she is his mother or his nurse.
When seeing the oracle in Lebadeia, a man would have to live in a building that was dedicated to Agathe Tykhe and the Daimon Agathos for a certain amount of days. It was then that he purified himself.
Cult Epithets:
Agathê Tykhê - Good Fortune
Eutykhia - Good Fortune
Akraiê - Of the Heights
Automatia - Self Animate
Meilikhios - Gentle, Soothing
Sôtêria - Savior
