Thinking of doing a ritual to Freya tonight. I have grain, mead, candles, and incense. I was thinking of doing a small cat carving to leave as an offering as well, but not sure what kind of wood to use? What kind of wood does Freya like? Or is any wood okay?
I actually didn’t know the season started today. For the last 2 weeks I’ve been itching like crazy to just get out into nature more, but last night/this morning it was so intense. I got up early, strung up my brand new hammock and just spent time outside for a while.
Eventually I did have to get on class (I did my first period & half of second outside in the hammock) but it was just so nice to be out there. Good to sit under the tree & breathe & hear everything, but also good to get my feet in the dirt.
It’s actually really funny - it’s been raining for a week now as well, but today it’s clear skies, perfect for outside.
Have a blessed taurus season, I hope you use this time to ground yourself in nature as well!
Hello! I hope you’re doing well today! My fiancé and I are starting to look into crystals more and I looked up ways to charge/cleanse them. I decided to look up amethyst and citrine because those are specific crystals my fiancé wants, but it seems it be contradictory because one source says to put them under sunlight to charge but another advised against it. Is there one for sure way to charge all types of crystals?
There is a way thats usable for each one, however I’d like to explain why those sources contradict each other first! The reason for that is because of the stones themselves. Citrine and Amethyst can be charged in the sun, but most people avoid it as the sun’s light tends to fade their colors or even make them so brittle they crack!
Water, Sun and Moon light, Flower and Salt Dishes, and Selenite Plates are very commonly used. But different crystals have different types of hardness, rust or disintegrate in water, and fade! So I recommend learning about those limitations. The only one that can be universally used however? The Selenite plates of course!
Hope my answer helped clear some things up! I’m sure if there are more ways however the comments will be a great place to find them!
Loki believes in following both your head and your heart. Because he does help us, but it's also important to remember that we can and have helped ourselves. We need to have faith in Loki and ourselves.
does anyone know of any good resources to learn about paganism? I lost the resources I used years ago when I started looking into it, so any that covers all branches of paganism and witchcraft would be much appreciated!!
