High Elf || Monk/Cleric || He/Him

Matthias is a wannabe Cleric of Bhaal. He is really good at killing, but keeps accidentally killing the "wrong" people and creating better outcomes. He also likes the "artistry" of death and tends to lose sight of the bigger picture. The grander vision of Bhaal.

Bhaal still feeds him scraps sometimes.

This last rejection really hurt though, so Matthias is left wandering around with a lost sense of purpose, general apathy, and a newfound urge to spite his former god.

Which is when he got tadpoled RIP

Something that I really hate about Larian's constant updates is that they make it really hard to be motivated to finish the game if you're someone who takes their time.

Like, I work full time and have other stuff to do around the house, so finding the time and energy to devote to playing bg3 is already difficult. Especially since it's such a long game. And THEN you need to worry about if the latest patch or hotfix is going to completely ruin a save or a character or introduce painful bug. Unlike other games the patches don't fill me with excitement and anticipation, they just fill me with dread and exhaustion. I have yet to finish Act 2 on any playthrough and from what I hear Act 3 might be the worst, most buggiest of them all.

It's like thanks Larian for making your game unaccessible to everyone except people who can dedicate all their time and attention to finishing it. I should be able to take as long as I need playing this game without missing out on content that you keep taking away.

I will literally just go play something else.
