I read your post about pleasure based conditioning and I have to say that how interracial porn is conditioning white dudes is indeed a curious phenomenon. When a white guy watches non IR porn, he can fantasize being in place of the white guy. In IR porn that's not the case. You're an outsider. And if it's a story driven film that happens to mention white men, it's not like that they are getting any praise. 1/2

I for sure am and I didn't plan on getting hooked to it, but I did. It happened quite quickly after I really found IR porn. And when I freaked out on how much enjoyed it and tried to quit, I found myself coming back to it again and again (not trying anymore :). White boy problems, I guess ;) )
There's a whole cultural story to that, really. If you go back 20 years, pretty much any movie or show of cultural significance had a white male lead actor; sure, non-white people weren't totally excluded, but they usually played a minor part in the white male actor's hero's journey. And lots of people who are very much into IR erotica these days grew up with that kind of media.
But obviously a lot has changed since then. Not only do we have non-white-male, particularly Black, hero's journeys now in popular media: there's a conscious and deliberate dearth in white male representation in popular media. White guys are just kinda out of fashion. It happened quite quickly and suddenly. And then there's the whole porn angle on top of it. Not only are you not being the hero anymore ... he's the hero now?
You can react to that in a few different ways. You can try and pretend to be a super chill liberal white guy who pretends like nothing has happened and everything is the same, despite the fact that a lot has happened and probably nobody takes you quite seriously. Or you can be an angry alt-right guy who's fuming about miscegenation on his fifth Twitter account (because the four previous ones got banned). Or you can accept that something has indeed happened you're happy to watch it. That's where I imagine most of my white male followers on tumblr are at right now.
It's certainly a strange moment to be in for a white male. You're basically conceding your own lack of sexual and social prowess and admitting to your preference for voyeurism: you'd much rather participate in this cultural change as a watcher even if it leaves you with less personal eroticism than demand your own participation. It's definitely novel and unusual, but maybe not that bad after all?
True, maybe this only affects a minority of white guys. But even if just 5% of white guys would rather watch than participate, that's an extremely significant window for change in terms of relationships and demographic development. Whatever girlfriend you would have left unhappy in a basic bitch relationship is now having the time of her life with an African refugee boyfriend. That feels good ... right?
