Pricing with the ebb and flow of demand is simply smart. If you had 90 things to sell, and 100 buyers, you would probably raise your prices until 10 could not afford it. Any smart business owner would do it.

Price gouging is when an external force, like a hurricane, forces people to need chain saws. Then gouging is setting a ridiculously high price because people are desperate.
