jrwi sad headcanons because im feeling down

so.. br’aad learns to read, and he’s fuckin… in LOVE with storytelling. he loves to write and tell stories to sylnan.

sylnan of course, appreciates it, but he doesnt get it. like. at all. because he cant read. and he never really got stories to begin with.

so sylnan takes up drawing instead.

it starts with him drawing the plans for the schemes he does to provide for br’aad. but doodling grows on him; its a way for him to be creative without facing the fact he can’t read

in the journal that ugarth gave him, there are a few pages of his own notes (from his temporary literacy) and then after that there are just drawings. most of them are unfinished nonsense doodles, but every now and then there’s a finished drawing of br’aad, sometimes katherine

there’s also a lot of vent drawings and a surprising amount of him drawing his cursed hand, drawing his demons.

he’s SUPER defensive about this journal and will probably bite you if you tried to look at it. he hasnt even shown br’aad.

am i projecting? yes. yes i am.
