Ah Discordianism, once so with-it, now not so… in fact quite dead, or so they tell me, that’s it then ah?
Well…. So is the stage play, the poem, the comic book, democracy and the novel, and as I just read a very lovely novel I will take “dead” to be a good thing or not a thing and go on anyway and put forth my version of not dead Discordianism, or that is Tru Discordianism.
Pop culture note: on the Cartoon Network series The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, the semi-regular character of Eris, the Goddess of Chaos, was voiced by Rachael “American Dad” MacFarlane in the first appearance of the character. She used a Valley Girl accent; for all the ones after that, she did Eris utilizing an imitation of Madonna.
Alrighty then, so I went to OpenAI API and asked it to create a prompt describing the Goddess Eris and the Goddess Discordia. This is what I got:
Draw a picture of the Greek Goddess Eris, showing her with golden hair, a white flowing gown, a golden crown or wreath, carrying a golden apple, and being attended by two golden lions.
(me: lions? What lions?)
Create a painting of the Roman Goddess Discordia. She should be depicted as a young woman with wild, wavy hair and dressed in a purple cloak. Her expression should be one of mischievousness and chaos. She should be carrying a staff with two intertwined serpents, and a bowl of apples, and she should be wearing two masks; one of a laughing face, and the other of a weeping face.
I then went to various A.I. Art generation sites, and the following images are what I got.
