Could anyone give any recommendations for decent laptopts that aren't like £1000 please? 🥲

My laptop was stolen on Friday and I'm borrowing my mums for the time being but with the amount that I use my laptop and what I use it for, her laptop isn't going to be a long term solution for me. My laptop literally goes everywhere with me.

If my memory isn't totally blanking, it was a HP but I can't for the life of me remember the model, but I do know when I got it back in 2021 it was somewhere between £800 and £900 because I needed a really good laptop that wasn't going to give up on me within the year. I use it for photoshop/ gifmaking, downloading movies and shows for said gifmaking, writing & RP, studying, work, video editing and uploading videos for dance exams, music editing and about a million other things, and I generally am always multitasking as well so it needs to be quite fast and able to process a lot of information without getting overloaded. If memory serves it was also at least 1 terabyte in storage but I can't remember the memory (though it was probably more than 8?)

I'm having to apply for funding from my uni to be able to replace it because after the house fire last year my credit card is at capacity, and I now don't have much expendable income due to rent payments and such.

So yeah, does anyone have recommendations for laptops please and thank you?
