another day another reminder that “we make our own decisions. our own choices. and, we have to live with them, too” means that Cody is carrying the burden of guilt that he doesn’t deserve because he doesn’t know it was never his choice. he doesn’t know why he shot Obi-Wan down and he doesn’t know Obi-Wan or Rex or any of his other brothers that survived aren’t dead and buried and he thinks it’s his own fault. and if he doesn’t get an ending he may never learn it wasn’t his choice. he’ll continue to carry that with him because he is a good person and literally nothing has been able to stop that. he won’t stop being good now.
