this is the finished product for my unreal engine.i worked hard to deliver a creative and part abstract buildings, mountains and places to fill my world up.

this is what i created this week on unreal engine. i wanted my world to look more abstract and creative i feel like the mountains and towers i made went great with my world and landscape but i wanted to go to the next level with the shapes and colours i have access to. getting out of my comfort zone i decide to try and experiment with new ways to make a shape better and more abstract. i used the select and rotate tool to rotate my shapes. i also used different materials like the glass material and created a new glow material to brighten up my galley i was working on today. i am very happy with my work and i am ready to continue next week.

this is the screenshot of what i did this week. i added elements like fire and water to make my world more interesting and realistic. for my stairs i got the stairs shape from the geometry section on unreal engine. i created a tower made out of water and named it WATER SPRINGS which is a hotel where the fish and other creatures of the sea stay. For a room you have to play 40 sea salts (CURRENCY). i made to tower extremely tall to make it stand out from the rest of the landscape, i will make new stairs and create a gallery filled with art. i had no reason to add the fire tot he land but i thought it would be cool and it added more creativity to my world. i used the landscape tool to make tall thick mountains to give my world more volume.

WEEK REFLECCCCCCTION

TODAY WE RESEARCHED INFORMATION ABOUT UNREAL GAMES DIFFERENT CATEGORIES. I ALSO STARTED MY WORK ON THE GAME. CREATING GRASS AND MOUNTAINS TO MAKE MY GAME INTERESTING. THIS LESS ON WENT WELL BECAUSE I KNEW WHAT I WAS DOING AND I UNDERSTOOD WHAT TOOLS TO USE. NEXT WEEK I WILL BE ADDING WATER TO MY GAME AND OTHER OBJECTS TO MAKE IT MORE FANTASY BASED.

WHAT IS UNREAL ENGINE USED FOR ?

 unreal engine is used for 3d realistic games, its also popular in animated films using software and designs examples- fortnite the game , zafari the animation and blood & truth which is a virtual reality game.

in fortnite i like the use of colors and its 3d design. the characters as well as the background draws your focus towards the game.

the zafari animation is so realistic and interesting to a young audience. i like the use of detail in the animation and the use of shadows and small things which makes a big difference.

the vr game blood & truth is cool because of its point of view camera, making a gamer feel like they are really in the game.

in today lessoooooooooooooooooooooon i added more detail to my level one game. by adding more bricks and changing the background to a city to make it more realistic to the story of the game.so far i feel like my work is going fine but there is need for improvemnt like knowing and understanding how to use some tools without help.

this is the game i will be doing. As you can see my charater is a duck decription = detective Dalton duck who is a detective for the AKPS which means ( animal kingdom police station)they protect other animals and arrest criminals. he has worked for the AKPS for 18 years now and is 43 years old. he is divorced with 5 kids and is now focusing on his work as well as getting along with his ex wife Dahlia. his mission in the game is to recuse a goose and save/ stay away from the evil farmers sons. i like the backround story i have craeted because it gives them a charater and a realistisc / intersting life. i like that the backroud story and plot brings the game and the character to life, making it enjoyable for people who want to play it. there are still things i need to do like creating accurate moving and game camera for moving the screen. overall i am happy with my work.

This is my final result of using the brush tool for the first time. The Brush tool is the painting tool on photoshop. It works by applying the color using strokes. this is an important tool because it brings colour into my work. Changing colours i dont like or adding colours in other areas makes my work more colourful and interesting. One thing i would do next time to improve it is to get a smaller detailed picture to challange myself. i used a range of colours to catch the eye that would make a veiwer want to look at it futher. Therefor i am very happy with my work because i did what i was asked to do as well as using some other tools i have learnt in the past. then when i was done using the brush tool i then used the horizontal text tool and came up the a fun christams theme. One reeason why i like this tool is becuse i am able to tell a story when using it with a picture on photoship. Creating small sentences craeted a story or personal backround that makes my work more intersting. I i am enjoying working on photoshop and learning more skills i will use in the future.
