As someone who travelled the world, never staying in one city for more than a few days at a time, a lot of people weren’t familiar with her visage… Though many were familiar with her team, the Pokemon companions that had been at her side for years.

Through the nervousness welling up inside of her, she still managed a small smile. She could tell right now that her Pokemon were very well taken care of and loved. In an odd way, she almost felt b a d for coming  here to battle. Despite how tense she was for this final showdown, the  atmosphere seemed to be…kind and lighthearted. It brought some ease to the blonde.

     “ Maybe a bit. I’m Avith. It’s a pleasure to meet you. “

Her main partner, her Machamp stood behind her. Even he could tell how anxious she was. He made a small grunt, lifting his trainer up and onto his shoulder. Maybe that would help calm her nerves?

     “ And this big guy is Rocko. “

     ❤ — ‘ I’M KIMIKO, AND this handsome one is my lucario, aura. i know he looks a little more than a little beat up, but don’t be fooled. he’s in perfectly healthy condition. ’      ❤ — FOLDING HER HANDS in front of her, the young champion studied her opponent’s machamp. she’d never seen one up close before, not having encountered them while she was in kanto and johto. he seemed very sweet in terms of easing his partner, who kimiko could tell was slightly nervous. she just gave off that kind of aura. the brunette giggled and gave a small wave to the pokemon, before setting her hands down at her sides.      ❤ — ‘ WELL, AVITH AND rocko, it’s a pleasure to meet you two. and i’m sure your other pokemon are just as wonderful. ’      ❤ — STEPPING BACK A couple of feet, kimiko sighed deeply once again. she looked down and closed her eyes, steadying her nerves as well. she was always nervous when it came to battling others. as much as she loved being champion, she didn’t really like having the title. and with no one ever seeming to beat her, she got nervous. she didn’t really want to be champion anymore. looking up, a sweet smile graced her face.      ❤ — ‘ AVITH, IT IS with great honor that i would like to challenge you to a pokemon battle! i hope with every bit of my being that you come out on top! you may select your pokemon’s first move whenever, or if you’d like them to select it themselves, i will not stop you. let the battle begin! ’

I’M NOT PERFECT, BUT NEITHER IS ANYONE ELSE. i’m screaming on the inside because kimi is just so sweet and kind. then you piss her off too much and she snaps like a twig. she has so much patience, though. and to think she used to be based off of me, who has zero patience and tolerance for anything.

These series of battles have been tough, and she would readily admit it. This was the end of it…right here. While she was calm on the surface, she was actually quite worried. Maybe she would make a mistake here…she just needed to have faith in her partners. 

      “ Even if I don’t win this, I can say, it’ll be an honor to battle you. “

She made sure to heal her Pokemon before re-approaching the other, She murmured a few words of encourage to her team before looking up.

     “ I’m r e a d y. “

     ❤ — WHILE THE OTHER stopped by the pokemon center, kimiko turned back to her beloved lucario and knelt down to his level. she gently placed a hand on his head, which caused his ears to twitch and his eyes to fly open. the female smiled at her faithful companion and sighed deeply.      ❤ — ‘ WE HAVE SOMEONE to face. you’ve been waiting a while for this, i know. just do your best and i know that even if you lose, you will have still done great. you don’t have to hit the others with everything you’ve got, since i know how much you dislike hurting other pokemon. i’ll just step back and let you pick your moves, since i know you’re more than capable. ’      ❤ — THE FEMALE STOOD up and turned around as she heard the other feminine voice come from the other side of the arena. her pokemon quickly walked up to her side and bowed gracefully, ready to face his latest opponent. kimiko smiled and nodded her head.      ❤ — ‘ ALRIGHT THEN, HUN. just one thing first. i’d love to know your name. i’ll tell you mine first, if you’d think that would help? ’
