i have this headcanon that buck is a social media slut like. tiktok, insta, twitter, etc. and so. i feel like shortly after they start dating, tommy goes on like a social media stalking spree just to see what he's been up to all these years and he gets to see buck in all his phases and stages from his brat 1.0 days all the way up to, like, family photos with chris/eddie and he accidentally likes one thirst trap taken on a beach in peru from like 2015 which is embarrassing, but he's like nooo evan's working, there's no way he saw it, it should be fine. and no sooner than he has the thought, he gets a text message from his boyfriend that's just a screenshot that says t.kinard liked this photo and is like "oh? see something you like?" and tommy is nothing if not an asshole at heart, so he's like "yes that water in the background looks so cool and refreshing where were you in this photo i think i'd like to visit" and buck is just like "🙄🙄🙄" but he's secretly like TELL ME I'M PRETTY even though he doesn't say it and tommy KNOWS it and he's powerless to not give his boy what he wants even when he doesn't ask but he can't look like he's giving up TOO easily because buck will never let him forget it so he's like "you know, on second thought i guess the guy standing in front of the water is kinda cute too." and buck is like :D :D :D .... anyways.

currently thinking about how tommy saying “probably not in the same day” was when i actually genuinely thought they were going to kiss cause that is so fucking smooth. like buck’s already offered to buy him a beer and tommy’s offered to give him flying lessons and now when tommy says he can teach him muay thai buck almost gives him an out by saying kind of jokingly “would that be right after the flying lessons?” and tommy just doubles down like no i’m not joking or just doing this as a favor i want to spend time with you and bring you to my workplace and my home and teach you about the things i enjoy and share these parts of myself with you i don’t just want to spend a day with you. and he says this all while looking directly at buck’s lips. absolutely god tier tommy kinard the man that you are.

Suzanne collins wrote a trilogy where a main media propaganda strategy was to market a horrific act of violence as a love story to distract ppl and then it got adapted into a box office breaking movie and ppl made it all about the love triangle. so then since they didn’t get the point the first time Suzanne collins wrote a prequel story about the main dictator and she makes it so that you as a reader want it to be a genuine love story so badly even tho it’s so very clearly not and instead feels extremely unsettling to make her point even more meta which then gets adapted into another box office breaking film and now ppl are making romantic snowbaird tik toks. do u think she’s gonna write another book that’s somehow even more blatant or just give up and start executing ppl? hard to say but I wouldn’t blame her for the second one

anyway the Buckley parents could have the best reaction in the world to Buck’s coming out, they could literally set up a new standard for what it means to be supportive parents and I’ll still hate them for what they’ve done to Buck and Maddie for 30 years. Like Hen said about Tatiana, Buck and Maddie may get to forgive and forget but I get to hate them with my whole being forever.

Like, he just mentions him when he's st the Diaz house, but says "Evan" and Chris is like, "who???"

So Eddie says, "he means Buck."

And then Chris just starts talking about Buck and how he saved him and how they hang out together and etc, etc...

Eddie is like, "Okay, Chris. I'm sure Tommy doesn't want to hear a million stories about Buck."

Not to beat a dead horse but nothing will compare to watching Yuri on ice while it was airing, you had to be there to understand the sheer joy and excitement and anticipation.
