So I am curious: did Aurelia see the initials on Merc’s stomach?

the initials were part of the dream merc had where they saw the initials they saw in the pictures on themself. right after, they woke up though so they're not real :)

merc does have a very prominent scar on their stomach, however.

That's interesting that the other anon got that impression about your blog, because I feel the opposite! I've definitely read IFs where the world is theoretically friendly to all types of MCs but where it does feel a little bit like a queer MC is slightly more intended (no judgment at all, they are great stories and I'm happy to enjoy them). But one thing I like a lot about your blog/IF is that I feel like you do an amazing job making the world feel extremely inclusive, while also still being specific enough to be (very) hot. My Merc is an ax-crazy tiny wounded fragile bird of a psycho lady and I find it really easy to project her into your world. Anyways, that's just me and my one person lens! 🤷‍♀️

I've been aiming for it to feel very neutral in terms of how I write the merc considering the way they are regardless of gender while still making them them feel grounded in the city and in their personality so I'm glad that came across well :)

writing POV scenes when I have been mostly in the merc's head so to speak is so funny bc the ROs have normal train of thoughts meanwhile merc is losing their mind every two scenes and being a general nuisance to cover up how scared they are about losing their mind

On the merc gender thing: not sure why, but there are times where something about this blog makes it feel like the story is catered specifically towards gay/bi men rather than a variety of people with differing sexualities and genders.

Not sure if it's because of the asks you get, or the way certain asks are answered, but that's just the vibe I'm given. Which is funny, seeing as the story proper feels very diverse and like the merc isn't written with the idea of a "canon" sexuality or identity.

TO BE CLEAR, the blog giving that vibe isn't necessarily a bad thing. If anything, you should pride yourself on creating an environment these people feel comfy talking about their personal preferences.

Thst said, I'll admit, it does make me very hesitant to participate in things like openly thirsting over Jax or talking about my own merc (a bit after finding this blog, I sketched out my merc and made a whole detailed bio of her and her personality/headcanons about her being in a relationship with Jax, but scrapped it since i was worried about encroaching on a space intended for a specific group of people) but that's more of a me problem than anything else.

I'm sorry to hear that! I didn't mean to make it seem that way since I try to answer every ask as neutral as possible in terms of the merc's gender (except if someone explicitly talks about their merc bc then I do feel like addressing them as the person that asked makes most sense) and I'm always happy talking about merc's/reading things people created for them :)

I hope you'll feel confident enough to share what you've made sometime bc I'd love to see it and am always down to get a look into what people envision the relationships between their merc and RO of choice to look like.

I'll be completely honest, when I started Breach 2 I knew it was going to surpass 1 million words. I just didn't think it would take this long. Through numerous challenges, both in writing and in real life. Through numerous ups and downs, I'm absolutely surprised and grateful to know that there are people out there who still support me. I've had many thoughts, numerous times, to give up and move on to other things in life, but I didn't want to disappoint, so I kept writing.

I bring to you, the 1 million milestone update. It's really not much, but it is one step closer to completion. This update has been in the works for the past 6 months mostly due to the weapons rework and also story changes for the crew members that I apparently couldn't keep track of without a giant excel spreadsheet. This update finalizes the Archangel's Gamma Crew hangouts, which is Kaz and Carly's hangout as well as Anna and Charlie's hangout.

As before, they share the same storyline so they will both share the same hangout. If you choose to go out with one, you cannot go out with the other. Kaz shares it with Carly, and Anna shares it with Charlie. Keep that in mind. Oh, and there's 7 new guns to play with. Have fun, Ian.

This update does not include the new Chapters. Chapter 3 will still be Patreon exclusive until Breach 2 finishes and I can send the demo to the public testing, and to CoG for the full release.

I really cannot reiterate how grateful I am to have an amazing array of readers and supporters who are still here after numerous hiccups and fuck ups. Thank you all, so very much.
