V7K headcanon: Nuru and Rapunzel get to meet at some point and they get to have a really long talk about the expectations Nuru's grown up with and how Rapunzel grew from her own anxieties about being queen. Rapunzel sees a lot of herself in Nuru, and Nuru always feels so much better about her future after talking with the Queen of Corona ♥ also they make art together

Okay so I've been thinking,

In the flashback where Edmund shows how he sent all his people away, we see a bunch of gondolas and a bunch of people going from the Castle side of the cliff to the Not-Castle side of the cliff. But everytime we see the full view of the area near the Castle, there's ... no houses. There's nothing. It's just the castle.

So I'm just a little bit confused on why were this many people on the smaller side of the cliff when we know they definitely took some land of the other side of the cliff for themselves (proven by the huge brotherhood statues we see in that area where things are still warm and green and alive and not burnt to crispy black thanks to the Moonstone).

So, why were they there? Why would they all collectively decide to go to the Castle side of the cliff, an area that is definitely gonna get crowded very easily and gonna be very uncomfortable to stay in, when they could be happily vibing in their (granted, quite destroyed) homes instead?

I'm thinking.

Maybe.

They were all there for the Queen's funeral.

I see no other explanation. The entire kingdom just got to the castle to pay the Queen their respects. Not to mention the fact Eddie was basically on his deathbed.

Wasn't the castle falling apart too?! Were you all really living in the castle which is falling apart, risking certain death... why?

To care for their remaining royals.

I've decided that this entire country is made up of such a tight-knit community that they would willingly live crowded, extremely uncomfortable, risking death by Castle Falling Apart and risking death by Moonstone and risking death by Black Rock Spikes Spiking Your Chest While You Sleep just because they had to make sure their king and baby prince stayed alive.

Imagine being so stubborn and so determined and so kind that you'd go out of your way to help this sick guy with the fancy crown even tho the magic cosmic stone is actively trying to kill him after HE HIMSELF tampered with said cosmic stone, just because he's sick and needs the help.

Conclusion: the DK people are cool and they deserved their home back 10/10 community.
