beans ki sabji recipe | beans curry | beans ki sabji | french beans curry with step by step photo and video recipe. dry curry recipe variant is a popular day to day recipe and made for particular reasons. the flavour and taste are mainly derived from the dry spices added to it and the vegetables used in it. one such flavoured and simple dry curry variant is the beans ki sabji recipe or french beans curry known for its simplicity and taste.
I am not a huge fan of dry sabzi variant and I typically end up with a gravy based variation for my day to day dinner meal. As matter of fact, even my husband has the same requirement. hence i typically avoid such dry variant. yet i have some selected recipes which i cannot avoid. some of these recipes include beans ki sabji, gobi ki sabzi, aloo fry, and even stuffed eggplant dry. whenever i feel lethargic to make some fancy gravy based one, i end up making these. the best part of these recipes is the preparation time and still delivering the taste. whenever i make such kind of recipes, i serve it with curd or yoghurt so that it becomes easy to digest.
anyway, before wrapping it up, i would like to highlight some tips, suggestions and variations for beans ki sabji. firstly, the size of the chopped beans is critical for this beans ki sabji. the size should not be too small and should not be big and has to be medium in size. the size helps to cook the beans in the required time. secondly, the beans ki sabji can also be made with a gravy base as an alternative to dry variant. you can either use tomato and onion based gravy or a yoghurt based gravy and cook the beans in its sauce. lastly, the recipe is open-ended and can be experimented with other vegetables to make a fusion of dry variant. for instance, you can add aloo to make aloo beans ki sabji.

crispy veg recipe.
crispy veg recipe | crispy veg recipe | crispy veg chinese recipe with step by step photo and video recipe. an ideal party starter or can be used for light evening snack which would be appreciated by all age groups including kids. the taste and texture is very similar to manchurian recipe but has the extra crisp because of the corn flour batter. once the veggies are deep fried to crisp, it is then tossed with manchurian sauce to get the extra tangy and spicy taste.
i have shared quite a few street food from indo chinese cuisine, but veg crispy is my all time new favourite recipes. perhaps it the extra crisp with this recipe could be the primary reason, as there isn’t much difference from the veg manchurian recipe. also comparatively, veg crispy is much easier to cook and prepare compared to later. it is so addictive that trust you would never end up with just one bite. my first encounter with this recipe was last month when i my husband organised a surprise dinner party for me. initially i was hesitant to try the crispy veg but i was already in love with this recipe after my first bite.
crispy veg
furthermore, some important tips and recommendations for a perfect crispy veg recipe. firstly, you can use any choice of dry vegetables for this recipe, but make sure it is dry and wipe of any moisture present. secondly, if you prefer to have extra crispy, coat some corn flour to the veggies before coating with the batter. this would ensure the deep fried veggies would end up having a crisp texture. finally, tossing the deep fried veggies in a manchurian sauce is optional and you can serve it plain tomato ketchup or sweet chili sauce as veg tempura.

mango cake design
As much as I like my strawberries in winters, I have an insane attachment to mangoes in summers. Maybe, secretly, I like my mangoes even more. What’s there to not like – sweet, full of flavors and SO versatile! No matter what you put it in, it takes the dish one level up and this is how I can best describe my eggless mango cake design.
With the season in full swing, it’s the perfect time to go to your kitchens and whip up a mango dessert. And when you’re looking for one, my latest book has this lovely recipe for an Eggless mango cake design and so much more. In case you’re looking for a book that has all your dessert cravings sorted in one, get your copy on Amazon.
INGREDIENTS IN EGGLESS MANGO CAKE DESIGN
I make this mango cake design eggless so that many of you can make this recipe with me!
For the dry ingredients, I use a simple mix of flour, baking powder, and baking soda, and for the wet ingredients, I use sugar, oil, mango puree, vanilla, and milk. What gives this cake the delicious flavor of mango is the smooth mango puree that I mix with the wet ingredients as well as put in the middle of every layer of cake. It brings the recipe together and ties it with the cardamom cream cheese frosting.
For the frosting, I beat cream cheese with butter, icing sugar, vanilla extract and the star of the frosting- CARDAMOM POWDER. Oh, the flavor burst this brings to this cake is incomparable! I recommend you to not skip this ingredient if what you want is a dessert that is a true showstopper!
TIPS FOR FROSTING EGGLESS MANGO CAKE DESIGN
This is a fairly easy cake to frost since we keep it naked, but in case you want to go full frosting on your cake, here are some tips that will come in handy –
ALWAYS PUT STRIPS OF BUTTER PAPER BENEATH THE EDGES OF THE CAKE
Before you start with anything else, it is important that you prepare your workstation for all the mess that could potentially take place. I hate it when I pause in the middle of the work to see things spilling or getting messy. This is why I always put in strips of butter paper or wax paper beneath the edges of the cakes to avoid the frosting from spilling on the surface below. You can easily get them off later when you are done with the whole process
ENSURE FLAT TOPS BEFORE FILLING OR FROSTING
If you plan to decorate your cake with toppings or icing, it always makes more sense to have a leveled top. It makes it easier for you to stack your requirements and give a more professional look to your ensemble.
In that case, be very sure that the top is even so that the frosting looks evenly put on the cake. You can always upturn the bottom to the top in order to get the leveled look. Even when you are filling in between layers, make sure the layers are leveled to hold the cake in the right proportions.
DIP THE OFFSET SPATULA IN A JAR OF WARM WATER
One helpful tip that I employ is to dip my spatula in a jar of warm water for a few minutes and then wipe it and use it to make the frosting look neat and even. The warmed-up spatula will minimally melt the upper layer of frosting to smoothen the surface making it look refined.
These are only the basic tips you need to be very careful about. But you are always free to improvise and experiment with better ways of getting around your cake. Don’t forget to get back to the comment section below to pitch in your own tips that had enormously helped you, or share your experiences on frosting your cake.
CAN I MAKE THIS CAKE IN THE MICROWAVE?
This has to be the most asked question on all my social media platforms. Can we bake the recipe in a microwave? And the answer is YES! I am so glad that I am creating a recipe that can be made both in an oven and a microwave so everyone can bake and rejoice with this beautiful eggless mango cake Design.
If your microwave has a convection mode, you can also bake this cake in it!  To bake this cake in the microwave, preheat until 160 degrees celsius. Place the cake pan on your tray, and allow it to bake for 30-40 minutes only. Again, microwaves differ, so keep a sharp eye out for the golden edges.
This cake can also be made in a cooker or kadhai, the options are endless. Basically, I just want you to make this recipe and share the joy it brings to you!
TIPS FOR BAKING A PERFECT EGGLESS MANGO CAKE DESIGN
Before making this eggless mango cake, make sure you line your baking tin with parchment paper. If you don’t have parchment paper, you can brush the pan generously with melted butter/ oil.
Make sure all your ingredients are at room temperature. This is important because room-temperature ingredients emulsify better.
While combining dry and wet ingredients, be sure to NOT over-mix. By over-mixing, you will knock out all the air and land up with a dense cake. Simply use an offset spatula and gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
Let the cake cool completely before you start frosting it.
ASSEMBLE THE EGGLESS MANGO CAKE DESIGN
Now that you’re aware of the elements of the cake – mango sponge, mango puree center and cardamom cream cheese frosting, let’s talk about how everything will come together.
First things first, you will make the cake batter and bake the cake according to recipe instructions. While the cake is baking, you need to prepare your frosting so that once the cake is out of the oven and cooled, you can frost your cake and this way, you don’t waste any time!
I bake the cakes in two 8-inch pans so that I have my two layers already sorted. If you’re baking the entire recipe in one pan, you’ll have to level the cake. Once done, we put some frosting on the side and mango puree in the middle. Then put the second layer in and frost the top of our cake with some more delicious cardamom cream cheese frosting.  Now the best part- I decorate the top of the cake by making a rosette with fresh mango slices! Make sure you use the best quality mangoes you can get your hands on with this recipe.

stuff capsicum
Stuffed capsicum recipe With step by step photos – this is a Punjabi style delicious bharwa shimla mirch recipe. In this recipe, capsicum (bharwa shimla) are stuffed with spiced mashed potatoes. A vegan dish.
This Stuffed capsicum recipe is how I make this dish at home and is liked by everyone. sometimes I also add green peas to the potato stuffing. There are many variations of making the stuffing and even with different ingredients like paneer (cottage cheese) or besan (gram flour).
Stuffed vegetable dishes are quite popular in India.
Most of the times I bake the stuffed capsicum. but in this post, I have mentioned on how to cook the capsicum in a pan, as I do get a lot of requests for making stuff without an oven. However, if you do have an oven, then bake the capsicum. Baking is easy and effortless, than sauteing & cooking them in a pan.
The bharwa shimla mirch goes best with rotis accompanied by raita. You can also serve these stuffed capsicum as a side dish. This dish also makes for a good tiffin box lunch.
How to make stuffed capsicum
1. First, boil the potatoes till they completely tender and cooked thoroughly. Peel and grate the potatoes. Keep aside.
2. Slice off the tops of the capsicum. Remove the seeds. Rinse them in water and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Keep aside.
3. In a small frying pan, heat oil. Fry the cumin first and then add chopped onions.
4. Saute the onions till translucent. Add chopped green chilies.
5. Stir and then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida. Stir again.
6. Add the potatoes and mix everything.
7. Saute the potatoes for 2 mins and then add garam masala powder, dry mango powder and salt.
8. Stir well and then add chopped coriander leaves. Mix again and let this spiced potato stuffing become warm or cool down.
9. With a spoon or with your hands, stuff the potato mixture in the capsicum.
Cooking stuffed capsicum
10. Now you can bake them or saute in a pan. I have mentioned the baking instructions in the recipe details above. Heat oil in a pan or kadai/wok and place the stuffed capsicum in the pan.
11. Cover the pan and allow the stuffed capsicum to cook on a low flame.
12. You will have to check often after every 5 to 6 mins and keep on changing the sides of the capsicum so that all sides are cooked well. Check, turn the sides and cover the pan again. You also have to place the open potato side touching the pan. In the below pic, you will see the various sides getting cooked. The capsicum will get golden and wrinkled. I usually cook the bell peppers thoroughly.
13. Continue to check, change the sides and then cover again till the capsicum are cooked well. It took me about 25 minutes to cook these on a low flame.
14. Garnish with coriander or mint leaves and Serve these potato stuffed capsicum hot or warm with rotis, bread or as a side dish.

Specifically, small children or senior citizens recovering are often recommended this dish (even by doctors) because it is so nutrient-rich and easy to digest.
The word Khichdi comes from the sanskrit word “Khicca” which means a dish of lentils and rice (source wikipedia). Khichdi is also pronounced and written as khichri, kichuri, khichari.
