I just wish I knew how to get engagement around here. I want to get lots of asks, letters, headcanons, and interaction on my posts like I see others here get, but I rarely get so much as an ask for memes, even when I practice rb karma and write stuff for characters that aren't easy for me.

This is Vénéneux !!! He's a chemist from France who moved to Britain (the country where Co.rpse B.ride takes place it I think??) Due to unknown reasons. The townsfolk think he's crazy though because the town believes in tradition rather than anything else (aka religion over science). He wears armored rings because he thinks they're cool but also to protect his hands from all the chemicals he works with !1!1 He also wears a cross on his pant chain in the attempt to show the townsfolk that "hey!1!11 I'm not crazy I swear!1!1!1"

last night was kinda strange.

i kept crying because i was reminded of something that happened to me when i was a kid (nothing extreme, just remembering how i used to witness my parents fighting). I was crying pretty much the whole day. I was obviously not in a good mood the whole day. But then I went to sleep and had a dream. I can't remember most of it. But I remember one part. I was laying somewhere (probably the couch) and staring at something (I can't remember what). When suddenly I feel something weigh down on my lap. I look down. Veneer. Resting his head on my lap and looking up at me.

What was he doing here? Why is he here? I want to ask those questions but didn't utter a word. He didn't say anything either, he just looked up at me. Staring at me with adoration in his eyes. I woke up a while after that. How strange. Was it him trying to tell me it was all okay? That I'm past what I went through all those years ago? Or was it just my brain messing with me once again. I'll never know.
