I realized a bit ago that I never uploaded Alaharel's reference to tumblr. Whoops! I'd been meaning to update it anyway, since I'd struggled to draw Alaharel's hair consistently since designing him and wanted to modify it to work better in my current style. So here are both the first drawing and the updated reference for the Guildmaster, long overdue!

I may or may not have been meaning to draw this scene from one of my dnd campaigns for a while. When our friend / antagonist was revealed to be a fire genasi, in a world where there are so few genasi, the party's own genasi has never met one until then.

Hello! I'm finally bringing the seasonal event I host! It's time for the Genasi and Aasimar Secret Satan 2024. It's the fourteenth edition we host- Last one had 207 participants!

This one is all about Aasimar (celestial characters) and Genasi (elemental ones). As always, it's not actually DnD or PF2e specific, if you have something that fits the general theme, feel free to join! You can do so by filling this form, but please make sure to read the rules carefully, we've updated them!

Inscriptions will be open up until 9 of March (with it included), so make sure to get in there before they close! As always, feel free to ask if you have any question, and please reblog so we can reach more people!

Today's prompts are "hot chocolate" and "charm." Really, what good is being a Circle of Wildfire druid if you can't use your powers to keep your partner's drinks warm? I'm not sure how well it reads that this is what's HAPPENING in the sketch, but alas color will have to wait for another day, lol.

I picked the prompt "foreigner" for today. The relationships between all three members of this polyship are complex and layered, but definitely one of the things Suaco and Alaharel in particular bonded over early on was being adrift from their homelands for not entirely voluntary reasons.

This is the first time this month that one of these drawings just refused to cooperate, and I was too busy all day to beat it into submission. I just ran out of steam and out of time, unfortunately. Ah well.

Doryen Outfit Update

So my lizardfolk sorcerer grew nine inches from a wild magic surge recently (in game time) - we also left the city our party started in and where we made friends and became members of a vigilante guild, and so I came up with an idea to customize Doryen's now nine inches too-short garment with fabric matching the guild's signature turquoise color - you can see the symbol of the guild on Doryen's belt clasp in this artwork! It was also nice to give him some new art that includes everything from his staff to the guild teardrop!

We're in a new city now, and once we have more experiences there, I think it would be fun to add something to his outfit for the next part of the adventure! (hopefully not spurred by another height increase, Doryen is now six foot six after his height increase!)

Sometimes you end up in a clothing shop. And sometimes an outfit calls to you. And sometimes you decide to buy it.

Gave Virga a new outfit for the new arc! I liked a lot of the elements from Virga's last outfit (all markings visible, wraparound skirt, capris underneath for swimming), so I just took all those and I made it flowery. I think pink looks good on Virga.

Fun fact! I took inspiration from different water / tropical flowers for this outfit! I don't know how obvious it is, but I based the skirt on hibiscus flowers and the hangy bits from the top are inspired by lotus flower petals.

Aaaah, this chap! Camden was originally concepted to be a more cheery, easygoing counterpoint to the stern and no-nonsense Ingway. Someone to wink at the party and roll his eyes to lighten the mood. Because I'm incapable of writing side characters that stay side characters, his plot relevance and personality have grown a lot since then. He's a knight, a wererat, the non-magical disappointment of his sorcerer family, and of course, in his own words, "Very, very gay!"

Ishvi's face is so much fun to draw, they're such a goddamned diva and they own it and I'm living for it. Wagner, on the other hand, is a sweet cinnamon roll which is fun in it's own way.

I'm faaaairly sure these two are the last major Thrrasir NPCs that will be introduced before July, so with this I should be done adding characters to my art fight profile for this upcoming season!

Tiger noted several times that Doryen was planning to tell Wagner at the first opportunity that the party had Fen with them, so I had to draw the boy's facial reaction.

Per my character notes - "Very open about his thoughts and feelings, this kid can't lie or guard his expression to save his life."
