i know this point has been said before but i HATE the way characters react to if a female character doesn’t like the guy that likes her. so many cats got pissed off at dovewing for trying to avoid bumble, and after they hung out like twice everyone was like Kits Are Coming

just in general if something bad happens the she-cat is always punished way more harshly. especially halfclan romances and stuff. nothing happened to oakheart meanwhile bluestar’s entire life fell apart. barely anything happened to crowfeather but leafpool lost the respect of her clanmates, her kits, and her position as a medicine cat. dovewing lost the respect of her sister and tigerheart got a slap on the wrist
