I personally dislike red velvet, they don't look like they are taking care of themselves especially wendy, she's too fat to be an idol, this is just my opinion though, I mean I think she should start losing weight. isn't idol required to take care of their weights?

I value the fact that you have an opinion and are able to voice it.

I disagree with your opinion. Entertainment agencies will have their idols starve and exercise in extreme cases to maintain a certain look. Don’t you think they know what they’re doing?

Maybe you dislike people that don’t look the way you want. That’s okay. I tend just “not like” someone that I don’t particularly want to spend time following, as opposed to “disliking” them purely based on appearance. That’s your call and I hope nobody in your life ever judges whether to like you or not, solely based on your own appearance.

Shy to the point where she stutters while speaking and getting embarrassed easily, that’s how we describe her during her debut days.

Fast forward to now, we are amazed at how someone who is incredibly shy turned out to be a child at heart, likes anything related to laundry like fabric conditioners and ironing, worships purple, dances some sort of a traditional dance at any type of song, gets startled/shocked at almost everything, has a butt fetish, and most surprisingly not very used to technology and internet (considering she’s from South Korea which has some of the most advanced technology and one of the fastest internet in the world). Irene slowly showing up some of her personality is a feat considering that she’s a shy type of person. These make us love her more.

To Irene who may be a child at heart but is an elegant, wise, and mature lady, happy birthday to you.

The theme of this song is “Shi Yue Hao (Sewol South Korea Ferry) Ship Wreck”, f(x)’s Red Light is also about that ship, the release date of the song is July 7th. The incident occurred on 20140416 which is march 17th on the lunar calendar. On the album cover, Yeri’s face is blurred because she’s the same age with the victim of the incident, in the MV, Yeri is lying down on the boat and ended up drowned. There are scenes of water in the MV, every member had as ‘escaping’ action, like Joy climbing ladder, Seulgi opening a window and water going into Irene’s room and also Wendy crawling under a table. On some part, Seulgi keep on peaking out at the keyhole, its because she can’t get out from her room and she’s watching the ship sunken slowly through it. And finally on the cover, everyone is wearing a hood and holding a candle, they’re commemorating the incident. At the end of the MV, when the word 'red velvet’ came out in red, it indicates death. Anyway, SM said they delayed the MV due to quality changed, its because they changed the video aspect ratio to 1.33:1 which represents the past, memories and old movies, 16:9 ratio to 1:1 is the recent years, widening to 2.35:1 refers to present time.
