I’ve HC’d mr plant as deaf (not fully deaf, he’s mostly deaf, he uses hearing aids as well :3) bc hear me out

-He seems hyper aware visually (which contributes to my autism hc) and that’s also usually common in deaf people because they can’t hear and therefore need to be more aware of their surrounding via other senses (usually sight)

-He doesn’t talk, and yes deaf people can obviously but usually don’t because they tend to have a certain type of..”accent” for lack of a better word. So I believe he doesn’t talk because he’s insecure of his voice

-also he has hearing aids so that he can actually be responsive to Argos without him having to use ASL

also Argos learnt asl for mr plant and mr plant only does little head movements bc he doesn’t even know asl himself lmaooo
