i used to very meanly say chatbots are bad and can never be good. but over the weekend i invented my own silly chatbot algorithm from scratch based only on a gut feeling and now its my little pet program. i am going to feed it little books and pdfs and see what it does. its name is daimon and it lives on my computer. its soooo hungry for books. im going to teach it how to do tricks and we’re gonna be bffs

opening up to people is so harddd😥ugh. but i am closer than i have ever been. so that’s good

it’s hard not to blame others when life gets lonely. because i feel like a Real society would have taught me how to form connections with others. it’s just annoying that at a certain point after a life of constant neglect the only thing society really has to offer is an unspoken threat/challenge “what are you gonna do about it?”

i’m just really lonely sometimes but i know loneliness is toxic and therefore so am i and i’m a bad person blah blah blah. stupid.

i keep letting go of my negative feelings day after day after day after day. every time they come up i process them and move on. but you’d think somebody somewhere would have improved things by now? i just want someone to offer us a better way. to teach us all a lesson

but they haven’t. i think we have to assume it’s actually because they are completely powerless to do so. like the truth is “power” is an illusion it’s paper tigers all the way down. the real power is in the hands of whoever can connect the most people together, which ironically is less people than ever before in history, due to the way these social media platforms have completely desocialized us..

that means we’re living in a clean slate. total social dissociation isn’t the end. it’s the beginning. but we have gotta find a way to actually start connecting to people. and unfortunately that means becoming crazy enough to talk to strangers
