hey kids

you know why I like redemption narratives? because a redemption narrative says: no matter how broken or wrong or bad or stupid or ridiculous or harmful or sad or terrible, you can atone.

there is still a road back. it might be rocky and steep, complicated and messy. walking it may take all your life. you may lose your foothold, slip and fall back into the abyss, but the wall is still there. the ascent is still there. hard is not the same as impossible.

you are never too far gone. you are never beyond saving.

IT’S ABOUT COMMITTING YOURSELF COMPLETELY TO AN AESTHETIC – THROWING YOURSELF INTO IT AND NOT LOOKING BACK. IN ALL FACETS OF YOUR LIFE, IF YOU’RE GOING TO DO IT, GO ALL THE WAY. THAT WAS ALWAYS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME. I STILL DON’T UNDERSTAND IT WHEN I SEE DESIGNERS DO THESE EXTRAVAGANZAS ON THE RUNWAY, HAVING SENT THESE BOYS OUT IN ALL THESE CRAZY THINGS, AND THEY COME OUT AT THE END IN, LIKE, JEANS AND A SWEATSHIRT.

i love when games are like “you can become a cyborg and gain all these powers…but are you TRULY HUMAN afterwards???” like i sincerely do not care. give me the robot powers. make me strong

The Black Heron also known as the Black Egret,  is found south of the Sahara Desert, including Madagascar, and prefers shallow open waters, such as the edges of freshwater lakes and ponds. 

The Black Heron has an interesting hunting method called canopy feeding— it hunches over and spreads its wings just like an umbrella, thereby creating a shady patch to block sunlight allowing them  to see better. It also lulled fish into a false sense of security by making them think that either night has fallen or the shady area is a safe refuge [x].
