On this day in wizard council history...

we remember the 4/18 terror attack on the Dual Spires of the City of Towers, which led to the loss of nearly 3000 wizards and their apprentices. We commemorate their loss as the Wizard Council continues to wage arcane war across the continent to secure vengeance (and mana drilling rights) from the many nations deemed at least partially responsible for this tragedy.

2nd April 2023 (by the mundane reckoning) - @wizard-news announces the maiden voyage of the Everway Subway. Despite the many tragedies that would come in the following year, this remains an important milestone in the development of safe and comfortable panuniversal travel!

Some have proposed that this figure may be the enigmatic "Fool of the After-March" referred to in certain ancient texts.

FISH VIGILANTE ARRESTED FOR TAX FRAUD

The large fish that took up vigilantism but a week ago has now been arrested for tax fraud, due to various unlisted sources of income. A sad day for justice. In case you were wondering, the fish is in cell 38a at the Silverton mildly penitentiary prison and the guards change out at 9:30 pm.

We did try to get some of our best scholars to look into it, but we couldn't make out what they said they'd found over all the gay trans sex they were having in the library.

(We did try to get our aro/ace scholars to look into it to avoid this problem, but they got distracted discovering new species of magical amphibians. And while the lesser griffrog is an intriguing beast it doesn't exactly help answer the mystery at hand.)
