Izuku is a cousin of Mic, and one day when he's young his mom lets him stay over at his older cousins house, who just happens to have a friend over (Shouta). Mic asks if usually would play and make friends with him bc he's very much like a kid even tho he looks like an adult (age regression). Izuku is enthusiastic and agrees and starts up a friendship with the soon-to-be dubbed "Shou-chan".

They don't see each other often (usually only hanging out when Shouta's very little days coincide with izuku being over at Zashi's place. But they're still friends over the years as izuku grows up.

Everything is fine until the first day of highschool when izuku meets his teacher & goes through the aptitude test. Shou-chan is Nothing like how izuku had known him previously and he's confused. Especially after a concerned shouta yells at him during the test [the canon "can't be a hero if u break urself and become a liability].

Izuku is determined to avoid Shouta and not make any fuss bc his good friend seemingly hates him now and he hasn't processed that yet.

But he can't really avoid him when he goes to the faculty room to say hi to his cousin and said cousin invited him in to meet all the other cool heroes. Poor izuku is a nervous wreck after a disaster of a first day & leaves as soon as possible. Shouta noticed his discomfort and avoidance of him & follows after to talk.

Not much talking happens tho because izuku won't look him in the face and won't tell him what's wrong and seems to doubt they're even still friends... But shouta isn't the best with his words esp without preparation so he let's izuku run off and he asks Zashi for help.

Next day, after izuku broke himself again at the irresponsible battle trials, he wakes up in the nurses office to his cousin beside him checking in on him, soon followed by - oh god - Aizawa-sensei.

Zashi decided now it's a great time to break up the weird tension between these friends, so he brings it up and starts mediating.

Aizawa apologizes for how he yelled on the first day, and expresses his concern for izuku's new quirk. Izuku staunchly refuses to tell them anything bc 'its an important secret' - which frustrates both adults but they see he's too stubborn to push on this.

After, zashi coaxes izuku into saying his frustrations. Izuku comes clean that he thinks shouta hates him now, and is very confused why his friend is acting so so different than how he knows him.

Realization lights in Shouta's mind: they never explained his habit to him. He explains Age Regression to izuku - how he is an adult but for escapism and self comfort from stress sometimes he mentally reverts back to being a child, and he would sometimes be over with zashi bc children need adult help; then he met izuku who became his playmate and friend. (He compares it to someone being in a quirk accident that makes them mentally a baby in an adult body.) Shouta at school is just shouta when hes Big.

Izuku takes a moment to process but it all aligns for him. "So, we're still friends?"

"Yes, please."

Izuku is significantly happier understanding the difference in shouta, esp after being assured they can still hang out when shouta's little ("-if you even want to play with someone significantly younger than you,,," "yeah absolutely!!").

The adults get izukus assurance that he'll work on his quirk (and shouta says that he will be looking into this 'secret' bc hes suspicious and concerned; izuku tries to brush it off).

Zashi says he'll take izuku home and explain the broken arm to Auntie Inko [his mother's sister], shouta declines to join them.

The air is clear and all is well.

Sho and izu do get together and fuck & it goes extremely well - izuku acting more as the top/aggressor even if that was previously mostly daddy's role. They take care as they always did to check in on each other and not push past known limits. Having the power to control the situation and not having anyone there watching them fuck (and having izuku be an adult this time) was significantly freeing/reassuring and they have a damn good time.

Meanwhile, mineta is a *-phobic bigot and when he talks some transphobia in the class, izuku rails against him so hard (secretly in defense of shouta) that mineta calls him trans and izuku doesnt deny it (even tho its wrong, bc thats not the point), so at least half the class suspects izuku is in fact a transman (theyre fine w that its nbd)

Kaminari, in a bid to show how totally trans friendly and accepting he is, invites izuku to change in the locker room w the rest of the guys, insisting that its all good he's got nothing to worry about, cmon!

Except he goes a little to hard and persistent with it with little explanation of why he's so insistent, which ends up with izuku becoming so uncomfortable he gets shouta for morale support and musters up courage to pull kaminari aside and tell him to "please stop trying to get me to take my shirt off its creepy and im uncomfy" and kaminari backpedals hard and immediately, apologizing and becoming a defender of izuku's right to keep his clothes ON.

Months later in the dorms (fuck canon storyline and timeline, idk and idgaf) someone (probly ashido) ends up pulling izuku's shirt fully off him to like look at an injury he's got and izuku freezes, feeling exposed. Kaminari walks by and yells at them, gets izuku back into his shirt and then takes him fully out of the building away from that bs.

Izuku pulls himself together mostly and gives kami a hug while (trauma-dumping) telling him that he was repeatedly raped a few years ago & thats why he cant be naked around others. Kami is understandably shocked and appalled, and izuku decides they both need a curative dose of hitoshi hugs to feel better.

Kaminari ends the interaction w the (somewhat incorrect) understanding that aizawa was the hero who saved izuku from the rapist. And also becomes friends w the 3yo hitoshi who is delightful and loves his sparks.

Later that night kami has nightmares about izuku being hurt and goes to him asking for more details (pls god say it wasnt a family member...) and izuku tells him a little more but still doesnt elaborate on shouta's presence or why he calls hitoshi "little hero".

As this all happens first/early second year, kaminari is currently the only person aware of izuku's trauma in any way - bakugou knew he was involved in Something when they were younger that pulled izuku out of school but he didnt care enough to look into it and doesnt know more.

(kami's occasional casual flirting & his compliments to izuku's appearance hint at a possibility for something more, which izuku picks up on and they have a vague talk of "im not ready for anything", "hey no worries, i didnt ask :] no pressure". They dont follow up on this other than keeping the potential in the back of their minds.)

This status quo is mostly maintained thru school and past graduation.

By then izuku is dating todoroki (they have not had sex but izuku has told him some of his trauma) and they move in together after school

All goes well for the next year-ish until izu and todo try to have sex and izuku forces himself thru it despite horribly triggering himself and desperately wanting it to end. After they both finish, izuku is sobbing and locks himself in the bathroom eventually getting kami tocome over and help mediate between him and todo.

They try to talk it out and work things out the next few months, but they dont manage to return to a comfortable status quo and break up. (Izuku, as much as he tries, cant feel comfortable being touched by todoroki anymore and ends up moving out before they fully breakup)

During the "we can work it out" period, izuku spends a lot of time being comforted and distracted by kaminari

Shouta makes note & comment that they clearly have affection and care (and probably love) for each other, is that going to go anywhere? Izuku just says he's not ready, and kaminari says he's not asking rn

Kaminari, jsyk, isnt committed to dating anyone rn but does often have casual sex w a few fwbs (this is also part of why he hasnt asked, but izuku does make clear later during some midnight talk that if they did date, he wouldnt ask kami to stop having sex w other ppl - honestly he feels like it kinda takes the pressure off him)

After a short stint living w shouta, izuku gets his own place. He spends a lot of time hanging out w kaminari - at both their places.

And during one hangout, izuku thinks back to highschool when kami tried so hard to make him feel like one of the guys, able to hang out casually without a shirt, and he decides to try it out now. Discern as Midoriya Izuku walks into UA - no uniform, no visitor pass, no appointment - to try and speak with another favorite follower, Nedzu, and get his help integrating in mortal life (and to pick his brain on the mysteries of The Case)

Aizawa spots him - noting vaguely that he seems familiar but unknown to him - and gets highly suspicious, especially when the stranger boy smiles at him like they know each other, and talks in vague truths without specifics about who he is and why he's here. Aizawa especially doesnt like when the boy calls him by name despite him not telling the kid who he is.

Izuku gets the audience w Nedzu - kicking Aizawa out bc he doesnt want to involve him rn yet (its more fun to feel his mind churn over izuku's irregularities searching for an answer he may eventually find, maybe) - and he barely needs to guide him towards the answer before the rat connects the pieces and realizes he has a mortal Discern before him.

He is delighted and intrigued and eager to assist. They work up a backstory of Izuku as a transfer student (UA is safe & has his favorite people in & makes a very good cover story for being as young as he looks (which, he was really hoping to be older but he lost focus on that detail as he switched over)) and then call Aizawa back in to ask him to be Izuku's host home - since the boy doesnt have family in town and no money for an apartment ("Yes, his family must be either stupid or irresponsible, I fully agree shouta. Regardless, his needs are the same.") or food.

Aizawa initially refuses but Nedzu insists and Shouta can't say no (either to his boss or to a kid in need, no matter how odd and suspicious the kid is). They call Hizashi in, as Shouta's husband, to tell him of the development - (Izuku sees him and lights up, giving him a small wave of recognition, though for the moment it's one-sided) - and Zashi enthusiastically agrees, much to Shouta's chagrin/dismay.

Izuku stays with nedzu the rest of the school day - they spend it doing a mixture of: establishing Izuku's history as a person (w docs incl.), catching up with each other (though it's not highly necessary as Discern checks in w Nedzu often enough), and throwing logic puzzles at each other just for fun.

He leaves with Erasermic at the end of the day & while Shouta has calmed from thinking him a potential Enemy, he's still not over the unsettling way he swears Izuku is somehow familiar. He cant work out how he would be, none of the potentials seem right (former victim he rescued, sibling of a former student/colleague...) so he ends up mostly brooding in silence as Hizashi shows izuku around their home and they cleanout the guest room for him.

Adopted brothers izuku & hitoshi - fell in love at young age -> become boyfriends (yes, incest)

Parents Erasermic are concerned but ultimately accepting, mostly just impressing on the boys that their relationship stays secret/hidden bc other ppl and society at large probably wouldnt take their relationship very well (what with it being "taboo" and people not reacting well to others being Different)

The boys do so, tho ofc they eventually get caught here and there (Midnight, nedzu, todoroki shouto, kaminari denki, all over time)

Eventually the boys make a plan w todoroki where shouto will fake date izuku and be his beard to give the aizawa boys an alibi and cover. (Shouto is aroace and it was half his idea.) They all move in together when graduated & tododeku is known to the public while the shindeku is not (as desired)

Eventually (nearly 10 years after the b/g of the fake date ~16/17yo) shouto proposes marriage to izuku (bc it feels about time they do or ppl will start getting curious), and the idea of marrying sho when he cant marry hitoshi upsets izuku until he gets together w shouta-dad and they decide on having a small intimate shindeku wedding ceremony (no paperwork but yes vows) before the big public tododeku one.

(They will have wedding necklaces instead of rings - maybe chain & pearl/stone bead?)

Kaminari (who found out when hitoshi vented to him while very drunk lol) is toshi's best man and shouto is izuku's. Kaminari is fine w the incest thing bc 1) hes a cery chill guy 2) he loves his friends more than anything 3) they were always pretty close in school so he supposes it makes sense but 4) he hasnt fully processed the situation yet lol (he'll still be fine after but it hasnt entirely hit, hes just going w the flow)

After 4 years of Izuku still not telling his friends who his bf is - and all of his friends mostly accepting it bc they respect him and so long as he seems safe and happy then they'll allow him his secrets for now - Shouta decides that maybe they should discuss why Izuku is still keeping them a secret & if maybe it's time to come out with it.

(Shouta very much wants this to be a discussion, not an accusation or demand for Izuku to do something he's not ready for. Shouta honestly couldnt care less who knows about their relationship - so long as they arent media - and if Izuku wants to keep him unidentified then he's happy to support that. But he's bringing it up bc, well... he's not entirely certain why Izuku hasnt told his closest friends, esp after this long, and he really thinks that it would be good for Izuku to not have to hide anything from the people he loves and trusts. He wants Izuku to be able to relax and feel safe, esp around the people he knows want the same for Izuku too. Izuku as Shouta's older brother & a quirkless pro hero (tho hes not widely known)

The Aizawa's had trouble conceiving a child so they used a surrogate mother (Midoriya Inko) and had Izuku (inko still comes by often, she and Mamzawa became good friends and now inko is the boys' Auntie)

Four years after having Izuku the Aizawas get naturally pregnant and have Shouta. Izuku immediately becomes determined to be the Best big brother ever! (He succeeds)

Izuku is still quirkless & a lover of quirk analysis

Papazawa has a visual Quirk Identifying quirk, and his knowledge and interest in quirks passed to Izuku

Mamazawa has a personal Gravity Nullifying quirk which makes her hair/clothes/anything shes holding float a bit in the air - generally considered a weak quirk - it gives her a slight colored aura

Shouta still has his Erasure quirk

Izuku learns he's quirkless and asks if he can be a hero and his parents say theyre not sure (bc the world is shitty and heroics is hard) but they'll stand with him the entire way if he wants to try anyways - and if anyone could be a quirkless hero, it's their Izuku

Izuku does end up going to UA and graduating as the quirkless Pro-Hero Null, with extra support from Nedzu (Many ppl try to stop him. It doesnt work.)

Shouta has trouble sleeping most nights (stress, anxiety, nightmares, insomnia, etc) and has ever since he was a baby. So he and Izuku-nii-chan have developed a Technique that almost always soothes Shouta to sleep: Izuku holds Shouta to his chest, with Shouta able to hear his heartbeat and breathing, and they just lay/sit together, the calm steadiness and safety of his brother allowing Shouta to put aside everything else and relax.

They found this Technique early, since Izuku has a seemingly sixth sense for when Shouta can't sleep (helped by Izuku's own struggles to sleep through the night). When Shouta was barely a month old, Izuku heard him whining in his crib and, in an effort to be Best Big Brother, crawled in with him and held him close like he'd seen their mom do. He said reassurances and rocked him a little, and Shouta quieted down quickly. They both ended up falling asleep in the crib, finally being found by their dad in the morning who woke Izuku to fondly ask "wtf?" His heart grew even more for his sons at hearing Izuku's explanation and seeing them cuddled so close - he didnt tell Izuku to stop. So it kept happening and now even as adults the #1 method to get Shouta to sleep when everything else won't let him is to just have Izuku hold him for a while. (Shouta does wake up pretty quickly upon being separated from Izuku, which is why it becomes an Emergencies Only situation when theyre adults living separately, but every little bit helps)

Another Thing they have is: as a child Shouta created a habit of jiggling the doorknob before entering Izuku's room to talk to his brother (usually about stuff that upset or confused him but sometimes just bc he wanted to hang out), and Izuku learned to listen for the extra noise to know it's Shouta and he always asks "What's wrong, Sho-chan?" when his brother comes in. They never grow out of that.

Shouta always thinks his brother is amazing and so cool for trying to be a hero and then Doing That, esp bc he knows a bit of how much ppl would criticize Izuku for it.

Shouta did grow up hearing quirkist comments from kids at school about him (and his brother but they never shared schools at the same time after elementary) but Izuku refused to allow them if he heard them and would regularly get in fights with Shouta's classmates after school, even tho his parents wished he'd stop - esp for fear he'd fuck up his school record and chances for heroics, but Izuku never backed down.

(One example of bullying Shouta also got at least once was ppl claiming that he erased his brother's quirk as a kid and that's why Izuku is quirkless & Shouta is a villain. Shouta avoided telling people his brother was a quirkless hero student after that unless it came up - which sucked bc he loves telling ppl how awesome Izuku is, but no one ever believes him.)

Shouta's bullying does contribute to his reticent nature tho, and even Izuku's cheer and chatter don't make him open up (but that's okay, he does what he needs to to keep himself safe. His family loves him always)

Shouta's high school friends all meet Izuku and love him and he adopts them all as little siblings

Shouta tends to use nii-chan with his brother bc theyre so close but does sometimes switch for nii-san if the vibes are right (no massive significance to it just vibes)

Izuku has suspected Eraserhead might be Kitkat for the last year and a half (when he discovered Eraserhead existed on some random hero rabbit hole he was diving through way too late-early at night). The hero has the long hair Kitty mentioned, and while he goggles and capture weapon make it difficult to tell the quirk, the name gives a hint. And footage of the few hero fights he's been in show some evidence that he erases villains' quirks. Which is what Kitkat told him his quirk was (Izuku still can't get over how incredible Kitkat's quirk is and how dumb people are for thinking he would ever be a villain with it).

Izuku is aware he's stretching a bit. He's only like 67% sure, especially since it's difficult to tell how old Eraserhead is.

(Though he's known for years that Present Mic is Zashi. Their style of speech and names are way too similar. Izuku absolutely has not fully processed the idea that he's texting buddies with Present Mic and calls him not only by his first name but a nickname and the man is totally cool with it.)

On the first day of school, it bumps up to 93% when he sees his teacher (ERASERHEAD!) in a familiar yellow sleeping bag, drinking a jelly pouch that Izuku knows Kitkat stocks for days when eating is hard. And up close, Eraserhead is definitely as young as Kitkat would be.

When Aizawa-sensei stops Bakugou from attacking him (with an edge of fury more than Izuku thinks the situation really calls for) and doesn't flinch at the idea that Izuku should be quirkless, Izuku wonder's if theres not more behind the action.

So when class breaks, Izuku is eagerly waiting for the next break so he can ask Kitty if he's his homeroom teacher.
