Yang knew Zwei was a dog of many talents, but what she wasn't aware of was his matchmaking abilities. She would later walk back home with a number and a name saved in her phone, and Zwei was given an extra helping of his treats.

Yang would look back on this as the day she and Blake were bound by the "Red Leash of Fate".

(click on pic for better quality) (a bit of background - this was the first comic I’ve ever attempted and the final drawing I made for bumbleby week, at first I was very ambitious and wanted to draw a long ass comic for both families but realized soon after I was unrealistic, this alone took me 4 days to complete. one part of me goes “I wish I did Ghira too” but I feel the comic works well as is and I’m proud of the result plus there will be more bumbleby weeks to come ;3)

It was never about “development”

Quite a few people think that bumble/by is a rushed and underdeveloped ship that the writers shoehorned in just to sate the toxic wasps while ignoring all of black/sun’s outstanding romance, and I completely agree!

Honestly, Blake and Yang had such a solid, platonic friendship and I can’t believe the writers would just force a romantic subplot into it like that and think we wouldn’t be outraged!

I can’t really imagine reading V7+ fanfictions anymore. It was always like, just throwing jackets off and boom, they were in tank tops. Easy and quick not to break the romantic tension. Now… now it’s more like… “yeah this zipper and this one, oh here’s belt and there’s another layer… or another three zippers…. oh and belt here…. hold on a minute.. gotta take my whole overall down, wait a moment.”
