Oops I just realized I completely forgot to post this gal for weeks now ^^'

Yep, I just went ham with some little holographic nail decorations (at least I think that was their intended purpose) on the few areas I actually repainted. Was surprisingly a lot of fun though, and I love the effect it gives from different lighting/angles.

Thinking of naming her Rosemallow or Hibiscus!

Also, the flower is not attached in any way yet (it's probably pretty obvious) since it was kind of a last minute addition that I ended up really loving, but it probably will be since she knocked it off with her ear like 3 times during this photoshoot, lol.

I got to take Basghetti, Funfetti's reverse persona, out for a nice photoshoot! He never properly got one so I'm happy I was able to borrow him from my bestie! He was a 2022 Christmas gift because she needed some sort of Fetti in her life 🧛‍♂️ He's also a vampire and his name is a reference to the film What We Do in the Shadows 😌

AAAAAHHH I FIGURED IT OUT

I really just needed to cut around the beak a LOT more than I thought I did. Ended up looking like this in the end:

But hey, that's not gonna show on the outside. ^^'

Anyway, there's really no need to worry when cutting it, all the moving parts and electronics are pretty far back, you're highly unlikely to damage them. I did, however, manage to break the soldering on the back/side touch sensor in my struggles, whoops. Though that should be easy enough to reattach, no?

2012 Furby disassembly help please?

I'm trying to get the faceplate off to paint the eyelids and beak. Followed the only tutorial I could find on here to the letter, removed every screw it said to remove, but I STILL cannot get this thing off. Something near the bottom just doesn't want to give and I don't want to force it too much. I've even cut the plastic around the beak as best as I could like I've seen someone suggest on that post (apparently it's a thing specific to 2012s and not Booms like the one in the tutorial) but it didn't seem to do much of anything.

If anyone has done this with one of these guys before, please help - could I be missing something? Or is it normally so difficult to take off? I'm on my last nerve and terrified of breaking anything.

It's been a while since I posted any of my customs, so here's this guy, my first attempt at eyechip replacement from a little while ago! I've been calling him Snot because he doesn't stop sneezing no matter what I try.

Originally his eyes were kinda greyish? I didn't think it suited such a brightly colored furb, so I tried making my own. Though I was dumb and originally put them back in upside down, but wasn't really feeling up to repainting them all over again, so I just took them back out and swapped them, but now they've got air bubbles - but oddly enough I think I actually like the look of them? They almost look glittery, ahah.
