"Of course. . ." She figured that would likely be the case. While she didn't know the area the best herself, she knew enough to get around. This was the place that she tended to spend time with some of her beloved, due to the seclusivity of it, and how easy it was to access or change to how they pleased without it being found out.

The goddess was careful with how she went about the area, making sure to not lead anywhere they may prove problematic. It took little time to actually reach the final destination that they were looking for. She could feel the relief of being here, finding the spot to be. . . Reassuring. "Ah. . . Here it is."

"...I would appreciate that." He didn't want to just stand here in the snow without any coverage, even with something covering his shoulders.

"I...suppose I should follow you. I am not familiar with the terrain." He expected her to start to head that way and he would follow. Perhaps some might find him rude, but this was just how he talked.

"Wow, this is almost even better!" She chimed, noting how even if they sat down, it was a good view of everything, since no one was allowed to stand in front of the area. Not as good as if they were a floor above, but still satisfactory.

"Would it be okay if I sat here?" She had been taught to always ask about stuff like that from a couple of the others, when she went out to be around humans. "I promise not to bother you too much. I just wanted to get a look at this. I've never seen anything like it before!"

"Oh! That's true...I bet someone will find a way though..." She winced when she noticed a group of kids running around and walked a wide birth around them as she headed to the empty table.

She didn't expect the stranger to follow her.

"Ah..." She sat down and planted her purse right in the middle of the table. It still felt way too crowded, but it was better.

"Is that your belief?" She could see why human may think that way. It was a more emotional response instead of something scientifically bound. Some of the others may see it as a foolish thought, but she did want the answer that was both logically sound and befitting of the mortals. This. . . Felt akin to a response she was truly looking for in her input of humans.

"Then, I ask. Is there tripping it the other way? Either back to being central, or going too far the other way? Do you believe there is ever such thing as too much kindness? Too much. . . Hope? What would it do to a person, in that case, would you think?"

"I think...you go too far when you commit unspeakable sins that you cannot express to others without fear of judgement or hatred...or at least...that is how I feel."

It was how she felt about herself. She felt that she had committed those sins. She had murdered for money. She was irredeemable.

The other might disagree, but she wasn't opening up anytime soon.

This is a duel-mun multimuse ran by Kiwi and Raven. We're so glad to have you here! This is a buch of muses that are based off the concept of a world that eventually ends, but their existences don't. This is a writing concept for us, but we wanted to expand and learn these characters better if we chose to further pursue this project, so we made this lil' blog! "For now," She admitted, looking over toward him with sharp eyes, "Something tells me I'll have to deal with you again in the future, though. . ." She waved the secondary comment off, looking away and off toward the city before her. Looking at the random people bustling. . . The clocks she can see for their time remaining.

"What is the ultimate thing that death causes?" The goddess chimed, as if it was something that should be known to all who work in the field. Different people had different answers, but there was one main one she hoped would eventually come to mind by all who do. That was why Jason was with her as her primary worker. He had given the answer right away, and so he proved . . . Worthy, if she could call it that.

She wanted to see what this one would say.

There were so many things he wanted to say to her. But if he were to be honest, he did fear her. She could make him serve this sentence forever if she wanted to and there was nothing he could do about it.

Still, he hated this. Just because he wasn't talkative or emotional didn't mean he didn't deserve to eventually pass on.

"Fine. Is that it?" He asked, voice quiet and empty. He was done with this. He just wanted to leave.

How come every time he ran into her it only left him feeling exhausted?

"Angry spirits, huh. . ." She wondered if she technically counted as a spirit, but perhaps that wasn't worth asking or thinking too far into. . . Looking at the item with a bit of curiosity, her head tilted to the side. "Yeah. . . I guess you'd need something like that, wouldn't you?"

This is what she gets for letting one single stray soul get out of her grasp. Human curiosity. She had gotten it back already, but. . . Perhaps she should just let them do their thing. It'd ruin their mood. "What do you plan on doing, then?"

If she found them to be interesting enough. . . She might let them try to get the soul into her jar on the other side waiting for it. Curiosity is key for humanity, after all, may as well think of indulging them.

"Fair enough, that's certainly fair." Edum couldn't help chuckling as he considered the man's statement about putting a little trust in people. He supposed he'd lost some of that faith once upon a time. Yet, if there were people like him out there these days, maybe he could come to trust others better again.

"I wouldn't say that there are any particular dishes that I'm looking to make, rather I'm trying to put together a new dish. Something that both of my partners will enjoy thoroughly, even if it would be for different reasons. Does that make sense?" Edum knew that it wasn't going to be easy to just come up with a new dish. After all, it was far easier to follow a recipe, or make a dish that you already knew by heart. But this was something that he wanted to have come from the heart.

"What's the meaning of a life if you don't put a little trust in people?" Dennis stated, giving a wink and then smiling in a comforting way as the other described his problem.

"Well, you certainly came to the right person for that." A chef who owned a restaurant was definitely the person to come to for help with food. "Any specific dishes you're trying to make?"

"Well, the one you fear punishing you isn't around to punish you. Are they? They're not anywhere around here, unless you can point them out to me. In which case, you're free to act how you wish to act." It was easier said than done, he was sure. After all, fear induced programming in one's brain from negative reinforcement was often difficult to over come, under any sort of circumstance.

But, as with any other sort of mistreatment, it could still be over come, no matter how bad it was before. It would just simply take time for one break through that mind set.

"At any rate, why don't you tell me how you really feel right now? Any thing in particular that you need, or want to get off your chest?"

"I...I wish it was that easy...but...Father..." She curled her fingers close to her chest, looking vastly uncomfortable at the mention of her Father. She wasn't aware of how bad of a man he actually was, but he was always stern with her, and he made it very clear that she was supposed to act like a Princess.

His version of a Princess, anyway.

"I...don't want to act this way, but if I don't..he'll punish me." Even though she hadn't seen the man since appearing on this planet, she was still afraid.
