I love this episode (season 1 episode 5 “Sheridan) and how Carmy is soo patient and understanding to Marcus after that big mistake! Everybody act like Carmy is this mean asshole who don’t care about anybody & Sydney is God’s gift to “The Bear” 😒I’m so over it! Carmy literally had a perfect arc just like Richie but Sydney did not to me.

I love seeing Carmy be an understanding boss to Marcus this episode ❤️

Richie said that cause Sydney has been mean & smug since she walked in the door. There is not one scene where is not minding her business & when Carmy said that nasty ass dish wasn’t ready she couldn’t even take that opinion. I hate how she challenge Carmen & everyone like Sydney is the best chef in the whole world. It does not matter if Carmen has an attitude 1 days his cooking speaks for itself. Sydney hasn’t cooked anything good but that omelette & still looked nasty to me.

Sydney was using “The Beef” which became “The Bear” to fix her failure of her catering business so how can she say that to Richie. Richie was grieving his broken marriage, best friend’s suicide, & being passed over for Carmy to run “The Beef”. But all Sydney saw was an opening where she can control others smh I am a black woman & I don’t like anything Sydney represents which is selfishness, arrogance without a track record, & clinginess.

Season 3 needs to get Sydney some therapy because I’m not gonna keep watching if her flaws are not worked on like everybody else are. I hate it if Sydney was a white man she would hated but because she is a black woman we supposed to see her as fiesty ugh it’s disgusting!

The nerve of Richie saying that after accusing her of “blowing somebody down at the telegraph” 😭 Syd was absolutely right though. I kinda hope we see more of Sydney’s spicyness in season 3.

I literally have thought of my best friend (who is male) during my last panic attack which was last year. I thought of his calm demeanor & his words to me to “stay calm & breathe”. Please stop acting like 2 adults cannot be friends please stop doing it! It’s a disgrace to the show and why would that date. Carmen is Sydney’s boss they are not business partners because Sydney does not have no money invested in “The Bear”. Adults can be platonic in life and if that can’t what is that saying to us as humans. It’s disturbing that yall shippers act like Carmen & Sydney is soo in love when it’s a totally power imbalance between the two.

Sydney is literally asexual she don’t even have a romantic bone in her body for the 2 seasons she been on our tv scenes. Sydney didn’t even notice Marcus was liking her smh all Sydney see is cooking & food.

Carmen does not need a love interest who is a chef like him & definitely does not need a love interest who works for him. Carmen’s brain does not turn off ever especially thinking about food so him & Sydney would have nothing to talk about but “The Bear” & food. NOT LOVE BUT FOOD! That’s not something Carmen needs for his future.

I worked for my boss for 6 years and we are platonic! He is like my older brother cause we fight but always make up. It’s not hidden sexual tension or feelings because 2 adults can be platonic! Yall don’t understand the notion yall putting out there saying Carmen & Sydney are secretly in love! Carmen is Sydney’s boss & mentor. I hate this part! Sydney was soo worried about Carmy’s life OUTSIDE OF HIS RESTAURANT that she didn’t even wash her chef’s white or even buy a new one! Omggg I hate Sydney so much and she can’t cook. Everything she does she needs Carmen’s approval or Carmy to babysit her ass!

Nobody seems to care about Carmy’s mental state. Carmen never had to balance work, family, friends, love, grieve, & being a business owner/BOSS! So maybe his mind was somewhere else when he should have been calling the “fridge man” but he was trying his best. Sydney needs therapy seriously one-on-one therapy because she is defending on Carmen to help her anxiety and it’s not fair.
