Giving you a bit of a heads up of what’s going on since I meant to be back already, but tl;dr between some home+financial struggle and my job usin some good ol’ classic abuse of authority, I’m not really physically or mentally in a position to keep up with threads and interactions at the moment. OKAY! Finished Xinyan’s domain, and I looooove what they had going on here. There’s a lot of ‘perseverance through hardship’ theming going on imo and it speaks a lot to how dedicated she is to not succumbing to the weight of people’s judgement. My only criticism is I think they lost the thread with the trio of kids, and a plot that I’m assuming was meant to emphasize Xinyan’s compassion ended up not really being about her at all.

I have a lot of speculation/meta ideas for it too, tho I’ll get to that after work >3

    𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 "𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐒" 𝐌𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅𝐅. “Boss” was corporate, and “Boss” might call someone around her shows who really didn’t need to be for the sake of her crowd. But there was an earnestness in the Inazuman’s eyes that was an easy dispellment for any instinctual doubts. To Xinyan, you couldn’t fake a true enjoyment like that, and honesty would be met with honesty. 

    “I haven’t put out the word to my Friends quite yet, but I got this little spot down just outside the harbor -- plenty a’ space, solid atmosphere, and no need for volume control. I’ll be settin’ up there tomorrow night!”
