How does one cope with the lose of a mate? When such a bond comes to an end what is there to do? You see forever banish in front of your eye but and all you can feel is the loss, the grief the overwhelming feeling of emptiness.
But the , you donā€™t stop loving the person you feel in love with, all youā€™ll ever want is for them to happy, healthy, for them to grow and develop, the best for them, for them to still be a light in your life.
Love changes, it grows, maybe they were what you needed in the moment, or they needed you just as much.
Shits crazy, guys

Nesting is its own form of therapy and I will die on this hill.
Creating a space rhat is safe and peaceful for oneself is so important, it has been such a healing thing for me in my journey ļæ¼to getting better. Itā€™s not just my actual sleeping space I consider my nest, itā€™s my whole den. The walls are specifically tailored to accommodate every need I will ever have in a space, the door is always locked and I am protected. I am safe the lights are dim and thereā€™s so many little lights in different colors of the den and most importantly, I am safe. Iā€™m happy. ļæ¼

I know, I knowww this is an omegaverse blog but I canā€™t be the only person who feels this way.
Iā€™ve always liked food. Iā€™m a chubby girl and have always been one. Iā€™m happy in my body and I love it and the view of myself isnā€™t the point of this post. Sometimes I have a hard time telling if Iā€™m hungry, or just empty.
Iā€™m sad and my stomach hurts and I have this desire for comfort and something to make the feeling go away, something to make me smile and to list my spirits. Something to fill the house before it grows bigger and bigger until itā€™s to big and I canā€™t handle it anymore
So I eat. I like to eat. I love veggies and fish and fruits. But I also love ice cream and carbs and sweets.
Most of all I like to fill that empty feeling I have constantly that can only be solved, even if itā€™s just for a moment by eating something.
Iā€™ll do almost anything for that feeling to go away.

autistic omegaverse headcanons
happy autism acceptance month!! (at the time of writing this itā€™s april 25, 2021) to celebrate hereā€™s a few abo headcanons having to do with autism, by an autistic person!!
i wrote most of these these a while ago and have no use for them, since i used to have a special interest in omegaverse that i have since grown out of, so i thought why not give these headcanons to the people whoā€™d have a use for them lol
feel free to add on ^^
Autistic omegas who have stim toys in their nest; very nice and calming things, theyā€™d fit in perfectly with everything else in there!
Autistic alphas who also have stim toys, since if ruts make the alpha aggressive, maybe a few moments with a fidget cube or Tangle can help? Though, now that I think of it, I think a firm chew necklace might help the most with aggression.
Autistic people of all dynamics (but especially alphas) who obsessively scent their partner because other scents on their partner make them really uncomfortable, to the point of sensory overload.
Autistic people of all dynamics (but especially alphas and omegas) who physically cannot deal with all the pheromones constantly coming toward them in public, so they just stay home unless they really need to go out.
Autistic omegas who cling to their mate, even if theyā€™re not in heat, since their mate is the one person they can socially interact with without worrying about social cues.
Autistic alphas and betas who cling to their mate, even if itā€™s considered omega-like to do so, for the same reason as Autistic omegas who do so.
Autistic people of all dynamics who have a partner and avoid touch at all costs, to the point of being afraid of bonding with their partner. Deep down, they still love their partner and want to bond with them, they just canā€™t handle touch without having a meltdown.
Autistic betas whose inability to relate to or understand omegas or alphas isĀ notĀ helping them when it comes to social endeavors.
Autistic omegas who carry a stuffie with them (usually from their nest) at all times because they need a comfort item to get by in day-to-day life.
Autistic alphas who are made fun of for being socially awkward and not confident ā€œas an alpha should beā€.
Autistic omegas who are made fun of for being blunt and not thoughtful in their every word and action ā€œas an omega should beā€.
(seekerā€™s thots: oh fuuuck yes)

What makes the perfect Omega?
Fucking nothingšŸ˜Œ
There is no perfect omega, perfect alpha, or perfect beta. Because everyone has their own idea of perfect for them selves or what they wish their future mate to be like. There are so many stereotypes about Omegas that arenā€™t true at all.
Like how omegas are only submissive and bottoms
How they all smell of sweet flowers
They like to be home makers
Want an Alpha and Pups
They need an Alpha to make them whole
They are small, weak, and frail and need protecting
All wonderful cooks
If you donā€™t fit into any one of those youā€™re still An omega, they not what makes you one. What makes you is an omega is, well, you. It was fits you best itā€™s alright to be dominant or a top, to not want pups or be terrible at cooking or keeping house.
And someone who tells you otherwise is a big stinky dummyšŸ˜Œ

Yes, I agree
Omegaverse Sounds
Omega
Keening: A wail-like call for something, usually a pack member or an item. If an Omega is not getting what they want or is upset, they will keen to get the attention of the nearest person in order to be soothed or be given what they desire. Basically shouting at others: ā€œIā€™m upset!! Give me what I want! Comfort me!ā€
Hissing: A low ā€œsā€ sound made if the Omega is provoked and thinks they or their pack are in an extremely dangerous situation. Hissing is a warning sound made to get others to back off or to alert others that they will attack if said provocation continues.
Trilling: Trilling is a high-pitched rolling ā€œrā€ sound in the back of the throat that typically occurs in short intervals or once. Trilling is a way for an omega to get attention, in a soft and non-threatening way. For example, if an omega woke up and saw their partner in the kitchen, they could trill to say hello and alert their mate that they are there. Trilling in public areas indicates that the Omega wants others to follow them. As another example, an Omega may trill at their friends before running into their favorite store. The Omega is either sayingĀ ā€œhello! Iā€™m here and want you to know of my presence, but I donā€™t need anything at the moment!ā€ orĀ ā€œIā€™m going this way! Follow me!ā€
Purring: Purring is a low, continuous vibratory sound made for a multitude of reasons. Omegas purr when they are content, relaxed, nursing their children, or are in a good mood. Omegas may also purr to self-soothe. If they are in an uncomfortable or stressful situation they may unconsciously start to purr to calm themselves.
Chirping: A quick, sharp high-pitched sound. Typically used towards pups or to express happiness. Mothers will chirp at their pups to send messages such as ā€œcome to Mom!ā€ and ā€œMom is here!ā€ Further, if an omega is happy, they will chirp to express their pleasure. For example, if an Omegaā€™s mate makes them dinner, the Omega may chirp to indicate they like the meal.
Mewling: A whimper or high-pitched crying noise to express unhappiness. Omegas mewl when they are hungry or in pain, whether it be physical or mental.
Alpha
Rumbling: A continuous, deep sound. Rumbling is very diverse in how it can be used by Alphas. Most often, rumbling is used to self-soothe or express content and relaxation. Rumbling can also soothe others if they are uneasy.
Growling: Growling is a low, guttural noise made in the throat. Growling is used to show almost all displeasure an Alpha experiences. It can be used similarly to hissing for omegas, as a warning when they feel as though they or their pack is in danger. Alphas also growl when they are annoyed or angry.Ā Last,Ā Alphas may growl at their pup, mate, or pack member with a disciplinary tone to convey that they are not happy with that person.
Crooning: A soft, low continuous noise that sounds like a hum. Crooning is typically directed at younger pups or distressed people and is meant to come off as soothing and safe.
Chuffing:Ā A puffing sound. It sounds like this.Ā Used to greet pack members and friends. However, chuffing goes farther than that. Alphas will only chuff if they feel very comfortable with the people they are chuffing at. They will not even chuff in the presence of strangers. When they chuff, they are basically saying: ā€œhello! You are my person/one of my people! I like you!ā€
Betas can make some of these noises. Which noises they can make varies from beta to beta. Some betas can growl and purr, but canā€™t rumble or keen. Etc.

Submissive Alphas are still AlphasšŸ’•
Alphas canā€™t be in charge all the time and thatā€™s ok, no one can be the one in charge of everything all the time, itā€™s literally impossible. Everyone needs a little help, a little guidende and direction. I know I sure as fuck do.
Things to do with an submissive alpha/when youā€™re Alpha is in subspace
Pet them! Make them feel comfortable and loved šŸ„°
Positive reassurance!! Alphas are sure to get a little self conscious about being submissive, especially to an omega due to all the stigma about how to be a proper Alpha one must dominant and only dominant
If youā€™re comfortable, take charge! I know it can be hard to be the dominant one, especially if youā€™ve only been submissive before. Switching things up can be fun šŸ˜
Donā€™t force yourself to dom. Nothing is ever fun if itā€™s forced. Itā€™s ok if you canā€™t handle being the dominant one, even if itā€™s hard to accept
Have fun! You donā€™t need to do anything sexual at all. Sometimes one likes to be held or petted or snuggled, even getting all cozy in the nest and watching movie would be fun for you and your AlphašŸ„°
Most importantly of all, love them for who they arešŸ’•
I wish this list was longer, but I really canā€™t think of much else, if you wanna add, please do!

There is nothing better than a gift from your mate to add to the nest you built to keep you warm and cozy and safešŸ’• and itā€™s even better when they scent it for you so it smells just like themšŸ„°šŸ„°
I miss my Alpha every day and this little gift helps just a little more šŸ„ŗ what gifts have you all gotten from a mate?

Omega Stereotypes: Which are True?
1. Omegas are extremely submissive
No! Although omegas have submissive traits and instincts, they do not dictate their entire being and personality. Children used to be taught that omegas need intense submission to live and are bound by it, but misinformation like that was just used to control omegas. Forced submission to a point of abuse can damage omegasā€™ mental and physical health.
2. Omegas can purr
Yes! Almost all omegas can purr when they are happy or anxious. The only omegas who are unable to purr are ones that have a physical disability.
3. Omegas canā€™t do stressful jobs
No! Omegas can do stressful jobs and in some instances occupy more ā€œstressfulā€ jobs that require patience and understanding. Although less than alphas and betas (mostly because of stereotypes), omegas occupy jobs such as doctors, lawyers, and business managers.
4. Most omegas are female
No! About 54% of omegas are female while 46% are male
5. Omegas are emotional
Sometimes! Of course this varies from omega to omega, but generally omegas are not emotional messes that constantly need to be validated and coddled.
6. Omegas canā€™t control themselves around alphas
No! Omegas do not throw themselves at alphas and suggesting otherwise is offensive and rude. Omegas are strong and do not rely on alphas for happiness or for a purpose in life.
7. Omegas are the weakest secondary gender
No! Omegas may be perceived as the weaker gender because they have submissive tendencies, but they have strengths where alphas have weaknesses. They are more natural soothers, they are amazing at teamwork, they are more sensitive to otherā€™s feelings, and generally more patient, to name a few.
8. All omegas nest
Yes! Omegas love nesting. Resisting the urge to nest is very difficult for omegas because it is a primary way they protect themselves and their pack.
9. All omegas want children
No! That being said, a lot of omegas DO want pups of their own, whether it be adoption or biological. Omegas may be happy staying childless or taking care of pups in their pack that are not biologically theirs.
10. Omegas only want sex
No! Omegas want change! This stereotype makes the world dangerous because some alphas and betas believe they have a right to bend over any omega on the sidewalk because the omega ā€œwants it.ā€ It also harms them in the work place because other genders may just see them as the office sl*t and not take them seriously.
11. Omegas are always the stay at home parent/pack member
No! Yes, it is rare to see omegas as the breadwinners of their family or pack, but it is becoming more common as the world develops and accepts omegas.
12. All omegas are messy
Kinda! Omegas may not intentionally be messy, but leaving their scent around their space is instinctual and what may be messy to other genders is comfort for omegas. For some omegas, the instinct is not as severe as others so they are able to be more clean. That being said, the mess is usually an organized mess, and omegas can fight their instincts if they do want a more clean space.

Alpha Stereotypes: Which are True?
1.Ā Alphas are protective of pack and family
Yes! Alphas are very protective of their loved ones, however, this does not mean only in violent situations. Protectiveness is ingrained in the biology of alphas, as it was (and still is in most cases) their responsibility to keep the pack safe and well-taken care of. Alphas can be protective in ways such as always wanting their pack mates to be warm and cozy or making sure their pups are always fed.Ā
2.Ā All alphas are aggressive
No!Ā Although dominance is a trait common to all alphas it can be established in many ways. Stating that all alphas are aggressive not only gives alphas a bad rap, but gives them permission to act in such dangerous ways.
3.Ā Alphas are abusive
No! Alphasā€™ protective instincts usually interfere with abuse of all types because it simply goes against their biological hardwiring. In cases in which alphas do abuse their mates, pups, or pack mates, they have to actively ignore their instincts or think what they are doing is benefitting and protecting whoever they are abusing.
4.Ā Alphas are power-hungry
Kinda! It honestly varies from alpha to alpha. Wanting power is not ingrained in an alpha, it is more of a personality trait. Omegas and betas can also be power-hungry, however, alphas may use their alpha status to validate their power-hungry tendencies.
5.Ā Only alphas can be pack leaders
No! Alphas just want to protect their pack, if this means following a beta or omegaā€™s lead, then they will happily do so. Some alphas may even step down as pack leader if they recognize that they are not the best leader for the pack.
6.Ā Alphas canā€™t be single parents
No! Admittedly, it is harder for alphas to be single parents because they do not have the same hormones and biological functions that omegas have that assist in child growth, however, they certainly make up for it in other aspects. Single alphas are more tuned into the needs of their pups as alpha parents with a mate are and their biology (like their scent) can sometimes change to accommodate to their pup.
7.Ā Alphas initiate courting first
Yes! Alphas usually initiate courting because of pack traditions and status stereotypes. However, some omegas have started initiating courting first to fight typical beliefs about gender and its role in society and the world.
8.Ā Alphas only take care of their own pack members/family
No! Their protective instincts extend to whoever needs protection. Alphas tend to feel uncomfortable if they witness another person in an unwillingly disoriented state (like being drugged) or if someone is in a dangerous situation. Further all secondary genders will help a pup in need, no matter what.
9. Alphas have a voice used to command omegas and betas
Sometimes! Typically referred to as anĀ ā€œAlpha Voiceā€, it is a voice used to command omegas and sometimes betas. Only about 5% of alphas have an Alpha Voice, however, most alphas who do have an Alpha Voice donā€™t ever discover they have it, as it has to be used purposely, or they will have it removed via surgery.

Speaking from experience gift giving can be pretty difficult. Itā€™s the first Christmas Iā€™ve had with my Alpha and I wanted to get her somthing special no one else would get her, yet somthing that would give away we are together.
My advice would be listen listen listen LISTEN to your partnerāœØshe mentioned MONTHS ago that she wanted a sword and that no one would ever get one for her and she refused to buy it herself. I told her that she was funny and we moved on.
Cut to six months later sheā€™s opening a sword for Yule and she cried šŸ„°
Basically what Iā€™m saying is listen to the things they are interred in, and itā€™s a little better than straight up ask them what they want or itā€™s not fun for anyone šŸ˜Œ
Also, happy holidaysšŸ’•šŸ’•
